                       Chapter 7

Summer

So Anthony told you about the forest and everything right? And the scream? Ok, good. But let's back up a little. We were walking in the forest, but I got a gift from my mom last night on the ship, it was a golden bracelet, the chain had hearts molded into it. In the middle was a dove looking as if it was soaring through the wind. When you open the dove, there was a heart under it; it was a small heart mirror. I couldn't stop wondering why I had it, so I was messing around with the bracelet, I still had makeup on and my hair done from the time I got claimed, yippee! It was the afternoon by when I stop looking at it. It seam's like I haven't herd Anthony and Hope talk. I looked behind me and noticed they weren't there.  Then I herd a scream! I got scared, so I kept walking and walking, about an hour later, I found cave thing, it looked very long, then I noticed there was a bright light at the end, I also noticed I cam to a stop at a huge mountain where the cave was going through. There wasn't much light in this dead forest, so I decided to go forward.

It was going on forever, so I thought about the prophecy. It cam flooding back to me, I knew the first line was about me. You delved on the past for your mistakes.

I knew that, because when I was little and first started school, all I did was get in trouble or suspended. My dad always had to move, he always kept up with me, no matter what happened. Other parent would be mad if there kids got kicked out of every school they went to. But my dad just said he was sorry, like it was his fault. But finally, I thought we actually found a place, in Washington where we can live, but I got kicked out again, this time, I told me dad, he can stay here and not move, and I would travel to the Boarding school alone, and I promised I wouldn't get in trouble. I didn't, until I got a News Paper at camp the title read "School Soaked, Destroyed bathroom, and Three Missing Students!" I knew my dad would get the news sometime. I was worried though. It's my entire fault that my dad has had a bad life. Then when I reached the middle of the cave, I noticed the light was a big door shaped whole. I stopped what if I am doing the wrong thing? If I mess up now, no one will trust me again! I am always making mistakes, what if this is a mistake? But I had no other choice but to go forward. By when I got to the hole at the end of the cave, I peeked through, the sun was shining, grass and trees were growing like crazy! It was another forest, but I herd swords clanging ahead. I ran, until I reached these golden metal gates, probably, about... 20 to 50 feet high? I herd something, I turned around then screamed! There was someone behind me; she had black hair, and brown eyes. She had a sword point up to my neck, with full golden armor on.

"Whoa! Whoa! Please stop!" She looked deep into my eyes, and then put the sword down.

"Who are you?" She snapped.

"Summer Leadermen" I replied back scared to death.

"What are you doing here?"

"Just... looking for something." I answered. She stared at me, and then laughed a sarcastic laugh. Then stopped and stared. "What are you?"

I thought about it, should I tell her I am a demi-god? Will she believe me? Or is she one to?

"What are you?" I said quickly, this time I was not scared, I will not make a mistake this time!

She looked at me "Your very wise, let me see your wrist" the girl was about the age of 15?

I showed it to her. She looked at my bracelet. "Are you a demi-god?"

She guessed it. "Yes."

"Who's your god parent?" She asked.

"Aphrodite."
