Demi-God Story 2 (Hope)

                       Chapter 3

Hope

Hey guys, yea it' Hope. My turn to tell the story! Ok. Yes I cried, what do you expect, im not much of a cry baby, but I couldn't help it! I hated this cabin! It was covered in dirt! The people here weren't very... what do you call it? Cute, Pretty, or even handsome! They were ugly looking! I have no idea how we can be related to each other! But some how we were! So I only cried for two minutes. I got my stuff out of the Hermes cabin, and walked into the Ares cabin. Clarisse came walking up to me, she was the head counselor.

"You ready you freaken cry baby?" said Clarisse. Ok now I know where I have the Ares jean, I felt like punching her so hard!

"Yes im ready!" I stuttered.

"Well then! Since you have such an attitude, you are going to the back of the cabin!" Clarisse said as she pushed towards the back, everyone howled.

I had my duffle bag full of stuff Chiver took before he ran out of the school. I walked more towards the back, and found out. Everyone else's beds were made out of metal, so it held them properly, and each of them had a chest at the end of there bed. My bed had spiders, dust and everything you could think of! And it was made out of wood. Plus it had a chest the size of your palm with a lock, but no key! Man I am going to punch her! I set my duffle bag on my side table, and started taking off the sheets and pillow. When I was done, I took a broom, and started dusting off the mattress. Then took bug spray from the CampStore, (which it had bug spray that would kill them in two seconds and make them disintegrate.) I brushed off the spiders and everything. Painted the wood a pink color then put the sheets (after I washed them) on the bed. Then bought a huge purple chest at the CampStore. All done! The Ares kids were all outside when I did this, so no one was in when I did it. Then I found shelf's next to my bed (the cabin had wood walls inside) and dusted them off, painted them lime green, and put my stuff on it. Then I stepped back and noticed I just made my own corner of the room! When the horn blew, it was time for dinner. I just noticed how hungry I was! So I washed my hands in the Ares bathroom (which I cleaned and painted blue, I am a quick decorator!) Then ran outside. We had strawberries, cheese, bread, and a big peace of meatloaf (yuck!). Everyone got up and put peaces of food in the fire. So I followed there example, and put my meatloaf in. Then whispered quietly "Dad, if your up there, please help me fit in!" But it was kind of embarrassing; my dad was a war god! He wouldn't except a please! Seriously Hope? I really haven't learned the rules yet and went to sit at the Hermes table with Summer.  She seemed to not know the rules fully either, because she just let me sit there. But before I was about to dig my face in the food, Dionysus walked up to the table, and said I had to do dishes tomorrow after the camp was full of campers. I thought it wasn't that bad until one of the Hermes kids told me you haft to clean them with lava. That's when my heart sank, and then he sent me to my table. The stupid Ares kids were calling me names because of how stupid I was for sitting at the other table. "Shut up you peace of craps!" I yelled.

"Ooh! We are piece of craps!" Said an Ares kid mocking me. "You shut up and find a better come back!"

When we got back to the Ares cabin, they almost had a heart attack; they yelled at me and cursed at me in Greek for the paint. So they painted everything I painted the color red. That night they made me sleep on a metal bed next to the window. When I woke up, it was 6 am in the morning. I felt like passing out, but my brothers and sisters made me get up and go workout with them at dawn. Uh! So I got ready in an orange campT-shirt, and didn't even bother to do my hair. They had me do everything! Even climb the lava wall! Seriously? Then one of the Apollo kids told us to be quite, they were trying to sleep. But Clarisse just ignored them, and started being even louder. By 9 o clock, the horn finally blew for breakfast, I was so relieved! I threw my eggs in the fire, and ate the rest of my food. By lunch time, kids starting arriving at the camp. I met Piper and Summer standing there.
