Demi-God Story 24 (Hope)

Chapter 28

Stealing the food was the easy part, but Nico decided to wait till the moon was out, it turned night quickly. We walked into the forest, I dug a hole, and Nico poured the food in the hole, and muttered words. Anthony was standing there, nervous as usual.

Finally, and image shimmered and showed a surprised Summer.

“Oh my gosh!” I said “I am so sorry! Only if I wasn’t stupid enough to get lost and not stay with the boat, you would still be alive right now! I wouldn’t have gotten kidnapped!”

Summer smiled “That’s alright, it wasn’t your fault, it was a tornado. Usual accident’s in life, thousands of people died the same time I did.”

I shook my head confused “You’re alright with dyeing?”

Summer shrugged, she was wearing the outfit before she died, well, the outfit from the last time I saw her.

“I knew it was coming, I mean, I miss the smell of nature, but I was judged into a great section. I died a hero, well, they thought, dyeing from a tornado isn’t most likely. But hey, at least I don’t get torture.”

I nodded, but there seemed something wrong with her face “Is something bothering you?”

She looked up startled “Oh, that…”

“’Oh that…’ what?”

If she had a real form, not half see through, I would have sworn she gulped.

“Well… lets say, Chad came here, and he said he was going to make things right.”

My eyes widened “What does he mean?”

Nico took a deep sigh behind me, it turned.

Nico walked up to Summer, “Are you in love with him?”

Summer sighed a sad sigh “It’s hard to love when you’re dead, but I did have a crush on him when I was alive. He was so sweet, everything I said, he blushed or I would. I wish I wasn’t young at the time, so I had a boyfriend before I died.”

Nico looked struck “Oh no, this is a horrible thing.”

He turned around and shook his head, “What?” I said again, he shook his head once more.

I turned to Summer, “What!”

She looked deep in my eyes “You haft it stop him, I told him its wrong, he said he loved me! But I knew there was no stopping him!”

“Stopping him from what!” I said, voice getting strained.

Nico came back up rubbing the back of his neck and looked up at Summer,

“Is there anyway you can stop him?”

She shook her head no “I told him I didn’t want it, it would be uncomfortable but I knew that he won’t stop until it has happened.”

Nico sighed,

“WHAT?” I yelled still frustrated.

Summer looked deep into my eyes “Chad is going too try and bring me back to life, but I don’t think its right. And this girl with red hair was with him! She looked mad and was wearing my bracelet.”

“And is that a bad thing?” I asked.

Nico turned to me “Don’t you understand Hope? He is going to try and bring Summer back to life! It’s the worst thing anyone can do, no matter how much you love someone you haft to get over it.”

“And?” I asked.

Nico sighed once more, but Summer spoke up “Make sure he doesn’t do it! I will feel uncomfortable! I will probably leave him, he won’t get it! Hope, my last and only best friend before I disappeared, please help me and don’t let him do it.”

I gave a ‘fine I’ll do it’ sigh. “Where do we go?”

Nico looked at me “It’s the easiest thing, right?”

I shook my head no; Nico rolled his eyes and said

“You’re going to take a trip to the underworld.”

I closed my eyes and thought; this was only the beginning, huh?

I opened them back up and gave my best friend and sad smile

“Only for you alright?”

She gave me a thankful smile and disappeared,

“Well,” Nico said “I helped you, I should be getting back.”

I nodded and he disappeared, I put my hand in Anthony’s hand and walked out of there,

“So now what?” Anthony asked.

I let go of his hand and sat down on an empty log in front of the fire, Anthony following my example, I got a blanket and covered both of us, then put my head on his shoulder.

“I guess we are going to haft to do it, were going to the underworld. And no one is stopping us.”

Anthony gave me a sad smile and laid his head on mine.

I wish I could have sat in the position for forever.

Well, hey everyone, I just moved into a house, and my dad still needs too set up the internet. So I got bored and finished the book, which I have been trying to do since the end of January. I hope everyone loved this story, and hope to hear from you soon. Sequel will be coming June 1st, I promise you that. In the Sequel, its all about Jasmines, and Chad’s POV’s, and a dab of Anthony’s and Hopes. And everyone who got mad at me for killing Summer, I was trying to tell you it was for a reason! And no one listened; I won’t give out any hints or spoilers (maybe a little of a spoiler) until June 1st. But when my dad does get internet, I will post this up, then look for a cover for the next story, post it up with those words ^^^^^ So, yeah. Thanks everyone, you are welcome to make a cover if you like, but, enjoy! I Love all my eighty four fans! (The last time I checked I had that much) and will hope to upload soon on my other stories. Thanks!
