                       Chapter 10

Summer

When I woke up, or let’s say, opened my eyes, I was snapped back to reality. Chad was snapping in my face. The ceiling didn’t even crack from the lightning, well…. What lightning? Where did it go? But then I snapped back to Chad.

“What?”

“Lupa is coming, pay attention!” He answered back.

Lupa? Who is Lupa? Is she the old lady? If it is, I am running. Then a she wolf walked in the hall. I picked up my empty cola can ready to throw, than noticed everyone was starting to stand and bow. So is set down my cola can and did the same.

“What is that thing?” I whispered to Chad.

“That’s Lupa! No duh!”

Oh… It’s probably the old lady…. As a she wolf… awkward!

We all sat back down, and the she wolf jumped on to a table in front of the cafeteria.

Lupa was waiting to talk after everyone was done eating, so I told Chad ill be back and walked over to Piper. She was still in the corner of the room; I was going to tell Annabeth. But I thought telling my sister would be much better.

“Piper?” I said as I sat down next to her. She hadn’t even touched her food.

“Yea?” She answered back. He voice sounded croaky. She stopped crying and her red eyes were fading.

“Are you ok? You need to eat.”

“I am fine, just not hungry.”

We sat there in silence then remembered why I came over.

“Can you communicate to another demi-god through a dream or something?”

She looked at me confused. “I really don’t know, you should ask Annabeth. Why?”

I sighed and then told her about Hope and Anthony. She sat there and just stared at the ceiling. When I was done, she got up and took me with her. “We need to ask Annabeth, I am worried about them.”

I sighed. When we got to Annabeth and Percy, Annabeth was telling him all about his quests. Trying to refresh his memory.

“Annabeth, we need to talk to you.” Piper said.

Annabeth turned towards us, and told Percy to hold on and followed us into the corner.

I asked “Can you communicate to another demi-god through a dream or something? Like a lightning strike then you black out, have a dream, then wake up like nothing ever happened?” She stared at me like I was crazy.

“Um… I really have no idea; I never even herd of that. Why? What happened?” So I told her the story, she ran over to Leo and Jason, and then Percy.

Then she ran back to us. “We agreed to talk to Lupa, and then set our ways searching for them before we go to Greece.” Piper nodded and started heading towards Lupa but we were to late when she stood up and announced “Take your seats!” she growled. I immediately ran over to Chad. He gave the face like “Your crazy!” But that didn’t matter. After everyone was seated. Everyone’s food poofed out of there hands and poofed off the table. Everyone sighed; they must have been used to it. “We have some new comers, I believe Greek!” Everyone just sat there a smirked. What were they smirking about? “We only let them sleep here for the night because they are friends with Jason!” What is she talking about?

“But we all know the rules!” Everyone started stifling laughs. “So, who’s first?”

We just sat there in silence and stared. Then I heard Piper gasp. We all turned our heads towards her. She went to run up to Annabeth when Lupa yelled. “When I say take your seats, it means stay in your seats until I let you up!” Piper automatically sat down.

“But since you volunteered to go to information, why don’t you say it aloud?”

Lupa asked.

Piper answered “No thank you.”

Lupa growled. “It wasn’t a question, it was an order!”

Piper’s eyes went big “Well… um… Winter last year, Jason, Leo and I went on a quest to save Queen Hera. But we found out that a she wolf name Lupa, which is you. Will test a demi-god to show there bravery and strength in order to get in the camp.” My mouth was hanging open, if I even closed it, I swore a fly flew in my mouth.

“Well Piper, daughter of Venus. But down correctly, like I said. Who is first?” Everyone looked around and exchanged looks. Annabeth looked at Percy; He whispered something into her ear. She nodded and stood up. “Ill go first, ma’m.” She said. Lupa nodded and had Dakota and Annabeth follow her. Annabeth made sure her knife was on the side of her body, and vanished through the door. Piper stood up and ran to Jason; she sat down in front of him. All the Roman kids got up and left, While Me, Leo, and Piper waited for our deaths. I wonder how Hope is handling it.
