Brother had a life of his own and I chose to spend my time in other kingdoms and elven domains. My father, it turned out, was happy for me and started talking to me again. He also visited me often.
One such place was Imladris led by Elrond or Lórien led by Celeborn and Galadriel.
You would find both Elrond and Galadriel in our family tree.
If you remember how I spoke of Turgon, my uncle, who had a daughter, Idril, who fell in love with a mortal man and had a child with him. The child's name was Eärendil and he was a half-elf. With his wife Elwing, he had two sons, Elros and Elrond. Elros chose the mortal life and Elrond the elven life.
As Fingolfin was High King in Middle-earth, Finarfin was King of the Noldor in Valinor, who had three sons and one daughter, Galadriel.
And to make it not so difficult. Galadriel had a daughter Celebrían with Celeborn who married Elrond. And these two had three children together, Arwen, Elladan, and Elrohir.
