taehyung along with jungkook walked into the immigration center- It felt weird to be back there for taehyung, it had been quite some time since he had needed to. jungkook was following him, the shock expression didn't left his face till then. taehyung wasn't sure why jungkook needed so much time to process the whole information and start acting up, sure, he was aware that this wasn't the option his assistant would have preferred, but it was good enough. It would only last for a little while and then everything would go back to normal.

taehyung was sure that jungkook's attitude would definitely not help- they needed to be convincing for this to work and it needed to work because, as jungkook had kindly pointed out, the whole thing was illegal. It would be all fine if jungkook seems relaxed a bit- they were both basically married to their jobs and losing that would be something they will not even dare to dream of.

the line was long and they waited, impatiently for their turn to come. "next,"the guy at the front desk called- taehyung dropped some documents on the desk. "i need you to file this finacé visa for me, please." the guy sighed, looking over the papers. "mr.kim?" he queried.

"yes."

"please, come with me." taehyung and jungkook followed the guy towards a small grey room where he left them alone, closing the door behind them. jungkook sat down on one of the visitor's generic fabric chair in the corner but taehyung remained standing as he scrolled on his phone, doing anything to not panic. now was not the time to let panic reign, nor was it the place.

"i have a bad feeling about this," jungkook whispered to himself casually reconsidering how much dignity he has left.

a knock was heard followed by the creak sound of the door opening- a tall man seemingly in his thirties walked inside- he was taller than both taehyung and jungkook dressed in a simple rolled-neck and blazer, his hair was slick back and was combed backwards, jungkook swore his eyes subconsciously moved to the latters thick glasses which was too noticeable to be ignored.

"hi," the man said, smiling brightly -too brightly, it was unsettling- at both taehyung and jungkook, they both shared their greetings to him "i'm kim namjoon" he introduced and the duo nodded.

"you must be mr. kim taehyung" namjoon said, sizing him down, "and you mr. jeon jungkook. sorry about the wait, you know. crazy day." he made his way towards his chair behind the desk plopping down on it . "of course," taehyung uttered, sitting down beside jungkook "we understand. i can't tell you how much we appreciate you taking us on short notice." nodding to the latter's words namjoon opened the folder which was readily placed on his desk, looking through it while taehyung and jungkook waited in silence- jungkook felt nauseous, the anxiety starts to eat his organs as he watches the agent read the details about them under his breath.

"so, i have one question for you." namjoon closed his folder, throwing jungkook a hard stare, he clicks his ball point pen as he studies them intendly "are you both committing fraud to avoid his deportation so he can keep his position as editor in chief at colden books?"
