Chapter 16
.
"Good morning, Ma'am." I ignored him at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. He didn't stop me nor question me dahil agad kong ipinakita sa kanya ang identification ko.
I am wearing a plain black cap, a black sunglass and a white face mask. Covering my face. I am currently at the building where the Director of Threads of Fate is at- the Studio Panda. I know that TOF director is here, kahit na freelancer siya ay siguado akong nandito siya to discuss the film he'll be directing under Studio Panda.
I remember that they gave a specific floor number and room number in the message they sent me. I removed the accessories that were covering my face, including the black cap.
"Third floor, number five." I mumbled and turned the screen off. No one even noticed me because they were all busy saka dahil na rin ata nasa pinakagilid akong parte.
I walked towards the elevator. Fortunately, wala akong kasabay pataas, I pressed the third floor, and the elevator started to go up.
Ding! The elevator sounded when I reached the third floor of the building, pag bukas ng pintuan ng elevator ay agad akong lumabas and started to look for the room.
When I found room number five, I immediately opened it and saw Jorie's manager and her, the director, the judges that day, and a fat, ugly old guy. Shock is written all over their faces, and Jorie's manager averted his eyes, maybe because of humiliation?
"You're all present!" I mocked and looked around each and one of them with a grin. "What a lovely day, isn't it?" I asked with a playful smile on my face.
I walked towards them and sat in the vacant seat. I sat comfortably while looking at them, not breaking eye contact. I took out something, a printed copy of our contract in Threads of Fate. My manager signed a contract after I got the lead role.
"I can't just ignore this, right?" I smiled at them.
"W-What brings you here, Ms. Valmorida?" The director of Thread of Fate asked, tumayo siya at lumapit sa akin. I raised my hands nang naka stop sign. He stopped and sat in a chair near him.
"I just want to see the one that replaced me," I said teasingly as I looked at him. I noticed how his sweat slowly dripped on his side cheeks. I smiled brightly when I felt Jorie's glare. I immediately faced her with a bright smile. "Are you the one that replaced my role? You look stunning." Puri ko tumango-tango.
"For a piece of trash." Blangkong dugtong ko.
"You whore! You don-" She didn't finish what she was about to say when her manager stopped her.
Threads of Fate wasted not just my time but also the income that I'll get. If Jorie's talking about using her power to her advantage, then you might as well join them.
I was about to speak out when suddenly someone's phone vibrated. Same happened to Direk Sivalo
His face turned pale once he checked his phone. Aligaga itong tumayo at lumapit sa akin, he even almost tripped sa kamamadaling lumapit sa akin.
"I-Ibabalik ka namin as the L-Lead Role." Direk Sivalo said while stuttering.
