Chapter 25

.

"Ingat ka ah?" Ate Kisha sadly said as she taped my shoulders.

"Yes, I will. Why are you sad? Hindi naman ako mawawala babalik din ako after three days or less..." I trailed off and cleared my throat. "So, I'll go now, Ate, bye." I bid my goodbye to her, I started walking away, but I stopped midway and ran towards Ate Kisha to hug her, agad din naman akong kumalas sa yakapsaka tumakbo patungo kay Kuya Livan

It's been four days since our last shooting. After two days, Kuya Livan and... Dad texted me about the wedding.

I was quite hesitant at first but I decided to go since our grandparents might be there. Sinabihan ko na rin si Zak tungkol doon, and he said he was also going home back to their mansion.

"So, kailan kayo nagkakilala at naging kayo?" Kuya Livan asked once we left the Green Residence.

I laughed. He was still at it, asking me about my relationship with Zak. It must have shocked him and Manang Hera a lot.

"I already answered your question in our interview." I laughed and gazed at the view outside the car. I am sitting in the passenger's seat, while Kuya Livan is driving the car.

"Come on, tell your Kuya about it." He said as if pleading.

I turned my gaze at Kuya Livan, and his eyes were on the road.

"Why are you so curious?" I asked jokingly.

He glanced at me.

"Because I'm your older brother, that's why." He answered.

I chuckled. "I won't tell you now, baka kasi kiligin ka."

I heard him tsk-ed na mas lalong ikinatawa ko.

We just played music and talked about nonsense things. We also stopped by a diner pagkatapos ay sumakay na ulit kami at nagpatuloy sa byahe, we arrived at the mansion and my body suddenly shivered.

When I stepped in, all the lies they lay in this mansion flashed back through my mind. My heart feels so heavy, and as I start to catch my breath. I started walking towards the kitchen, and I didn't want to stay at the entrance. I sighed and started calming myself down, but when I heard her voice, everything faded. The anxiety I felt vanished.

"Hija." She called me using her soft and gentle voice.

I looked back at the person who called me, and there I saw Manang Hera smiling at me.

"Manang Hera," I whispered and ran towards her. We hugged each other tightly.

"Kumusta ka? Napanood ko yung sa interview mo sa tv." There's a hint of teasing in her voice. "Dalagang dalaga na ang Xochi namin." Pang-aasar niya habang yakap-yakap ako.

I giggled and swayed while hugging her.

"I miss you..." I trailed off and hugged her.

Manang Hera just laughed.

"Nandito ka lang pala, you left your luggage sa entrance." I looked back and saw Kuya Livan smiling.

I scratched my nape and looked away, I noticed that my luggage was missing. "Sorry about that, Kuya... by the way, where's my luggage?"

"Pinaakyat ko na sa kwarto mo sa isa sa mga maid. You should take a rest, Dad and Tita Claudette are still on their date." He informed me while checking his gold Rolex wristwatch.

I went silent, I just tsk-ed and waved my hands at Manang Hera. My mood suddenly changed upon hearing what Kuya Livan said.

Dahan-dahan akong umakyat pataas. It's already 9 in the morning, ilang oras din ang biyahe namin.
