Armin, of course, wasn't privy to the breakup. So when he saw what Porco was doing, he grew red tenfold, the thoughts that he harbored sparking up bright and hot as he glared daggers at the two teens.
"That bastard," he growled.
He strode off, scanning the beach. He put aside his anger and focused. All he wanted to do was find his best friend.
It was all he had wanted to do for the past few weeks.
The blonde was so worked up that he failed to see Eren waving at him.
"Hey, bro, you good?"
The brunette scrunched his brows in concern as he looked at the state that Armin was in.
"You look like someone pissed all over your McNuggets, what's the matter with you?"
"I just saw Porco kissing Pieck!" Armin exclaimed, looking at his friend in distraught.
Eren's jaw dropped.
"No fucking way-"
"I knew he was no good! We have to tell Y/n," the blonde said firmly, his blue eyes combing over the long stretch of people on the shore.
"He won't get away with it. We'll find Y/n," Eren assured, and the two kept a watchful eye over the beach, both dreading what was to come.

Y/n was sitting on a bench near the shoreline, taking a beat to contemplate everything that had just happened.
She took in another deep breath and continued rubbing her hands anxiously, her heart beating rapidly in her chest and her disheveled brain switching off from focusing on those racing thoughts to the distant sounds of seagulls.
'Porco and I are through,' she reaffirmed mentally.
'It's over.'
She hated to admit it, but this thought was liberating. She no longer felt guilty. The two of them simply weren't right for each other, and now that it was over, she would be able to talk to the person she most cherished in the world.
The person that was currently causing her to spiral closer to having a panic attack.
'Oh my God, I need to tell him,' was the thought that screamed the loudest to her in that moment.
It caused a wave of fear to ripple throughout her psyche, bringing her heart to hammer down and her palms to sweat.
She shut her eyes and slumped forward, clutching her face in her hands, the sun's light peeking through the gaps of her fingers.
"I can't do this," she said feebly to herself, wanting to just get up and drive away from the beach, away from Armin. Away from the possibility of being rejected.
She knew she hurt Armin, so why would he still want anything to do with her? How could the girl expect him to return his feelings after everything she had put him through?
The gaps of sun suddenly faded, a shadow looming in front of Y/n.
She removed her hands from her face and looked up, eyes wide.
"What are you doing up here all alone?" Jean asked, moving forward to take a seat next the girl. He plopped down his beach bag and looked around, puzzled. "Where the hell is your boyfriend? Why isn't he keeping you company?"
"Uh..."
Y/n sat there in awkward silence, her hands folding together on her lap as her lips pursed, lacking the right words to say.
