13 Vacation Planning

I was awaken by my phone ringing as I look at the time to see that it was a little over 10 in the morning, so I looked at my phone to see it was Lei who was calling so I moved out of my room, leaving Charles on the bed, before answering it.

"Hello to my beautiful best friend. I'm calling for an update on when you are supposed to arrive here in LA for the holidays so I can inform your adopted family, since we are all excited to see you since you've been too busy to fly or even just call." Lei said cheekily while chuckling.

"Ohhh. My bad, bitch. Isn't it like 1 in the morning there?" I said chuckling before sitting on the sofa in the living room. "I already booked my flight for the 16th and I'll be staying with you for a month before coming back."

"Yeah but I just finished some work so yeah. Anyways, good. Mom and dad will be very happy to hear that. Call me when you need me. I'll be there to pick you up from the airport. Bye. I'm heading to bed now. I love you bestie."

"Yeah. Thank you for the love. Bye. Goodnight." I said and ended the call.

I then sent Lei my flight details then looked up towards my room only to see Charles standing there in only his boxers leaning against the door frame with his arms folded across his chest looking at me which made me look him up and down before unconsciously biting my lip.

"Stop doing that cherie. My self-control has a limit especially for you." He said groaning before pushing himself off the door frame. "You're going home for the holidays?" He asked as he approached me before he leaned down and gave me a peck on the lips.

"Yeah. I miss the people I call family. And I also miss LA and the beach and surfing." I said almost dreamily with a smile. "Anyways, I'm hungry, what do you want to eat?" I continued as I stood up and made my way to the kitchen.

I opened the fridge to see what I can cook with the ingredients inside before asking Charles if he wanted Pasta alla Carbonara and he said it's fine as he came into the kitchen to ask if he can help with something so I handed him the pasta and asked him to cook it while I chopped the other ingredients and prepared the sauce.

I prepared tea for Charles and iced coffee for me before I served the Carbonara in 2 plates and placed them on the kitchen counter in front of Charles before I moved to sit on the stool beside him and we started eating as he asked me if he can stay with me before I fly to LA for the holidays.

"Are you sure? I'm pretty sure you're supposed to fly back to Monaco since all the formal events have ended and you have no prior commitments scheduled here in Maranello." I asked him.

"I want to spend time with you. I did say, we're gonna start with getting to know each other, tho, but I guess, we started getting to know each other's bodies first last night." He said and chuckled.

I rolled my eyes at him as we continued eating and asked each other some question until we finished and he said he's gonna call Andrea to bring some clothes and other things as I cleaned up the kitchen and went to the living room with my flask containing my iced coffee and turning the tv on.

I was scrolling through Netflix when Charles finished his phone call with Andrea and came to kiss me on the forehead before saying that he's heading to the room to take a quick shower. 

My doorbell rang as Charles came out from the room wearing a pair of shorts and a gray shirt and he went to open it.

He came back to the living room with Andrea in tow and I stood up to give him air-kisses on both cheeks and say hi before he and Charles started working on assembling his simulator and other stuff as I went to the room to take a quick shower and changed into a leggings and an oversized shirt before I came out to the living room and decided to watch as the boys were busy.
