10 Dresses and Glamour

I did expect an apology from Charles not because of the hate I have received but because he lied to my face about him being single but oh well, it's not like I'll ever be going to the same place as him outside of the garage, when I do travel with the team and at the factory, ever again.

I got up, got changed and went for my morning run before getting my coffee at the nearby café since I chose to choose convenience over anything else. I then came back to my apartment to take a bath and change before grabbing my phone and keys and heading to the factory.

I arrived at the factory to find Matteo and Luca drinking coffee in the office so I said "Buongiorno" which they returned. I went to drop my phone and keys at my table and got my lab gown and iPad before heading to the lab table to continue working on the task that was assigned to me.

This became my routine for the whole 3 weeks that there were no disturbances in the lab until I was called to Benedetto's office. I washed my hands and removed my lab gown before grabbing my phone and heading to the CEO's office in the main building. His secretary immediately ushered me inside.

Benedetto: "Buon pomeriggio, Cassandra. Have a seat please. I'll be quick since I have a meeting in a few minutes. So, I have called you here to ask you to attend the Season-end parties, auctions and Galas as Shell's representative, Luca coordinated this with the Shell executives and they agreed as Luca said that you are the one for the job. You can choose who to bring with you of course. Mia will be coordinating with you as she will be the PR for both you and Charles for all the parties while Stephania will be there for Carlos and Matteo."

"I understand sir tho, I'm pretty sure that Luca just doesn't want to be a people person for this year. But may I ask if me and Matteo can switch PRs?" I said as I thought that I just jinxed myself with my thoughts this morning and mentally face palming.

Benedetto: "Yes perhaps, that's exactly like Luca. Mia has requested for you to be the one under her and not Matteo but if you wish to change it, I can talk to her."

"If Mia was the who requested it, then it's fine sir. I will make sure to contact her."

Benedetto: "Good. I'll see you around the parties then. Your invitations and everything else is with Luca. You may go back to the lab before Matteo calls to ask you to be sent down already."

"I shall take my leave then sir. Arrivederci."

I then left his office and smiled at his secretary and went back to the lab and headed straight to Luca's table glaring at him while he sheepishly smiled at me and gave me a box before telling me that his credit card is there to be used for my shopping which made me smile evilly before I called for Luna and Izzy.

They squealed in delight when I said we're going shopping as I scanned the 6 invitations and saw that the first one was in two days and all the events from then on were only 2 days apart so I decided to go shopping for all the 6 events today.

Me, Luna and Izzy went shopping for 6 different dresses that matched the set themes for each of the events in 3 different boutiques and shopped for shoes to match each dress in different shops before carrying the bags with the shoes and the boxes of dresses and heading back to my apartment to drop the bags and boxes before we decided to just have dinner delivered.

I thanked both of them as they said that they were gonna head home since it was already late. They grabbed the shopping bags of clothes that they also bought and headed out.

It was now Saturday and here I am in my apartment with Luna and Izzy as they helped me get ready for the first event I will be attending which is a Gala.
