Another Love

16 Winter Break

I was awaken by a hand running through my hair which made me smile as I opened my eyes to look at Charles.

"Good morning, bella. Andrea is gonna arrive in 15 minutes to go on a run with me before we head to the factory for the simulator test with Carlos, do you want to come?" Charles said as he kissed me on the forehead. "You can ask Matteo to also let you test drive on the simulator." He continued with a chuckle as he stood up and moved to his bag and pulled out a Puma shirt before going to the bathroom while I rolled on to my side.

"I'll come, the thought of possibly getting to test an F1 car even if it's just on a simulator is one I cannot pass up." I said making Charles chuckle as I got up and went to my closet to change into a black Nike shirt, black Nike leggings, a gray Nike windbreaker and a gray Nike Downshifter 12 before going out to see that Charles wasn't in the room anymore so I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth before heading to the living room where he was sitting in an all Puma outfit.

"We should take a photo while standing beside each other. The world will think that there is a war of advertisements in Ferrari." I said making Charles laugh as I shook my head just as my doorbell rang so he stood up and put his hand on my waist as we walked to the door to see Andrea standing there.

We all went down as we decided to go my usual route for our run this morning. Our run was surprisingly quiet as we all had our running earbuds on and just kept up with each other's pace before we all slowed down and removed our buds as we approached the cafe I frequently go to at the end of my morning runs.

Charles told me to find us some seats as we entered the cafe as he headed to the cashier to order our coffees so I went ahead and find seats for us.

I found 3 empty stools towards the back of the cafe so I just sat on the last one as Andrea followed suit and sat a seat away from me leaving the seat in between us for Charles to take as he approached us holding the receipt which I took from him and gave to the barista.

We drank our coffees while making small talks before we headed out of the cafe and walked towards my apartment building.

Andrea went to the parking lot to get his car and drive back home as me and Charles went up to my apartment to freshen up before heading to the factory, and once again, I am dressed in an all Nike outfit as he is dressed in an all Puma outfit which made both of us laugh as he held my hand as we exited my apartment holding only our phones and the keys to my apartment and headed to the factory.

We arrived at the factory just as Carlos was getting out of his car.

We waited for Carlos to get to where we are and we started walking in to where the simulator test will take place to see Matteo, Luca and the other engineers from the research team except the chemistry department already there waiting for the 2 guys who are with me.

Matteo and Luca looked at me and Charles's hands before looking at both our outfits and shaking their heads.

"To think that you both come in hand in hand, but wearing different brands who compete against each other, makes me think about who I will see first to wear the other's brand of choice." Luca said which made me smirk.

"This is love and passion." I said while pointing at myself. "That is sponsorship." I said while pointing at Charles. "Him wearing another brand will make Puma sulk, but I can wear Puma when I want to, in case you forgot, I have worn Puma once but that is not by choice, when you called me in for the emergency last month and did not let me go home and change."

"I wear Puma by choice, cheri. They're comfortable.." Charles said chuckling. "And they go well with the shoes that no other brand has." He continued while pointing at his shoes which was one of the collab shoes between Ferrari and Puma making me roll my eyes and the others laugh as he let go of my hands to go and get ready for the simulator test.
