Charles's POV
"Bonjour, mon fils. Maintenant je sais pourquoi. Mind introducing me to the lady in your arms, dear son?" Maman said which made Elise sit up straight moving her out of the frame, looking at me in shock, as I chuckled and put my hand on her waist then pulled her back closer to me and back into the frame showing her to my mom.

"Maman, this is Cassandra Elise Smith. Ma cherie, this is my mother, Pascale. " I said smiling as Elise smiled at my mom through the phone.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Leclerc." Elise said still smiling.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too, chere. I just wish I could've met the girl my son has been talking about nonstop the last time we saw each other in person. Please, just call me Pascale, or Maman will also do." My mom said cheekily at her making me laugh as Elise blushed.
Elise was about to reply to my mom when her phone rang and her facial expression changed before she turned to my phone.
"I'm sorry, please do excuse me. I need to take this." She said and stood up after my mom said it's okay and moved to the balcony.
"Elle est magnifique et a l'air bien élevée. Quand puis-je la rencontrer en personne?" My mom asked smiling at me.

"Je t'aime aussi, maman. Au revoir." I said as I ended the call.

Elise came back into the living room a minute after I ended the call while looking at something on her phone.
"I haven't even gone on vacation and they're already calling to tell me the schedule for when we got back. What do you want to eat? Let's just order delivery." She said as she handed me her phone where a delivery app was already opened before sitting on my lap with her legs on each side of me, straddling me and wrapping her hands around my neck before burying her face in my neck.
"Not feeling like cooking today, cherie? What do you want to eat?" I asked her chuckling as I looked at the time on her phone and saw that it was almost 7 pm before adding pesto and a margherita pizza to the cart.
"Lasagna please." She said as she placed a kiss on my neck. I added lasagna to the cart and confirmed the order as she placed another kiss on my neck making me squeeze her thigh as I placed her phone on the sofa beside mine.
"Bebe, you need to stop that, you're playing a dangerous game." I said as I feel her place another kiss on my neck before she lifted her face to look at me which made me groan as I placed my hand on her nape and crashed my lips on hers, kissing her and immediately deepening the kiss as I caressed her thighs up to her waist before squeezing it making her hum.
We both stopped kissing as we ran out of air and touched our foreheads together as we both panted trying to catch our breath while looking at each other's eyes.
"The effect you have on me is massive, cherie, and if only I hadn't promised to take things slow, I'd have taken you to bed the second time you placed a kiss on my neck." I told her chuckling as she blushed and was about to say something when her doorbell which wasn't there the last time I was here, sounded.
Elise stood up fixing herself, making her look presentable as she walked towards the door before opening it and taking the food before uttering a quick "Thank you" and closing the door.
She then handed me the box of pizza before heading to the kitchen as I grabbed the box and placed it on the table before getting the remote and turning the tv on.
I was choosing a show for us to watch when she came out of the kitchen holding 2 plates, one with pesto and one with lasagna. She handed me the plate with pesto and a fork before she sat down beside me.
"Let's watch Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, please, mio caro." Elise said looking at me with puppy eyes so I settled with playing it as we ate our dinner and cuddled on the couch afterwards.
We were on our 5th episode when I noticed that Elise has fallen asleep so I quietly untangled myself from her and turned the tv off before slowly carrying her to her room and placing her gently on the bed and covering her with the blanket before I went back to the living room to clean up, put the plates and spoon in the dishwasher and place the empty pizza box in the trash before going back to the bedroom and taking a quick shower.
I dried my hair first before I climbed into bed and wrapped one of my arm around Elise's shoulders which made her snuggle up to me and use my arm as her pillow as I wrapped my other arm around her waist before going to sleep.
