29 Happiness? Or Not?

Charles and I entered the club making a bee-line for the VIP lounge where we found almost all the drivers already there and have started drinking.

Lily, Alex's girlfriend approached us, introduced herself and pulled me towards the girls while Charles proceeded to go say a quick hey to the boys before seating beside Pierre.

The party continued until the around 1 AM, when the guys decided to head somewhere to eat since some voiced out their hunger and they had already agreed where to eat so we all filed out after the bill was taken cared of and we all squeezed ourselves into the cars since some of the guys did not bring their cars thinking that they would be too drunk to drive.

Charles immediately pulled me towards his car with Carlos following suit, pulling Lando with him as Lando drove with him in his SF90 when those who did not bring their cars were starting to find space for them to take on the others' cars.

All 4 of us got in and Charles and Carlos locked the doors before pulling out of the parking lot simultaneously before the guys could even get near the 2 cars which made the others turn only to see us almost at the parking lot exit already.

We arrived to the restaurant in about 10-15 minutes.

Carlos and Lando were the first ones to park and get out so they headed inside first and were already talking to the maitre d' who was telling them that there is a private area up stairs where there was a long table that can be set-up to accommodate all of us so we waited for a few minutes before we were guided to the table.

After just about 5 minutes, the first one to arrive after us were Pierre, Kika, Esteban and Nyck, then came Alex, Lily, George, and Carmen, and lastly, Max, Kelly, Checo, Logan, Oscar, and Lance, how the 6 fit in Max's car is a wonder.

The menus were then passed as we all sat down around the table and the orders started to be taken down on the notepad of the server as 2 other servers approached our table with the champagne bottles and started filling everyone's flutes.

I asked a server to take a photo of the all of us before the meals were served and I posted it on my Instagram story tagging all of them then stories flew by throughout the entire course of the meal.

We were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours before we all decided that it was time to get back to the hotel and sleep.

Max complained about his car being overloaded while we were walking out of the restaurant which made us laugh so Pierre told Lance who was the nearest to him that he can ride with them back to the hotel.

We then got into the cars and made our way back to the hotel.

We said our good nights to the others as we all headed to different floors and rooms.

Charles and I both woke up to a phone ringing and we both grabbed our phones from the nightstand.

I groaned when I saw that it was not mine that's ringing so I just snuggled up to Charles with my head on his chest which made him chuckle before telling me that it was Mia calling.

He answered the call and talked to Mia about his schedule for the day and the flight later today while running his hand through my hair which was soothing and before I knew it I fell back asleep before his phone call with Mia even ended.

When I woke up again, Charles was nowhere in sight so I looked at the time on my phone to see that it was almost 12 noon.

Just as I was about to get up to take a bath, a message from Charles popped up telling me that he was at the gym with Andrea and asking if I was awake and if I wanted to go out for lunch or just order room service before we go and shoot the video that their PR team wanted done before their flight the next day, so I replied that we could should just order room service so he could take a shower and change before the shoot.

I then proceeded to take a bath and do my other bathroom routines/rituals and got out with my robe on to choose an outfit. Charles came into the room to ask me what I wanted to eat as I was choosing my outfit to which I replied Carbonara and he left the room. I decided to wear gray Nike leggings, Charles's Monza hoodie and my all black Air Jordan IX. I then fix and packed all my things before zipping up my luggage and bringing them out of the room and placing them near the door.

Charles chuckled seeing my outfit, so I looked at my outfit then looked at him questioningly.

"Your love for Nike is unparalleled." He said which made me roll my eyes and pout. He then got up and kissed me on my temple before entering the bedroom saying he's going to take a bath and change.

Our meal arrived just as Charles came out with his own luggage dressed in a gray sweatpants, a black Puma hoodie and a black Scuderia Ferrari Trinity Men's sneakers which made me roll my eyes and say "FIA's love for Puma is unparalleled" which made him laugh.

We then ate our lunch and went down to the lobby where Mia, Carlos and the rest of the PR team were waiting for us.

Mia laughed looking at Charles and I when she saw us walking towards them with our luggage.

"Don't comment, he already commented on it when I came out" I said as I rolled my eyes playfully at her which made her laugh even harder and the others joined her as they got what I meant and what Mia was laughing at as they were there most of the time to hear Mia commenting on my love for Nike.

Mia then took our key cards and went to the reception desk to return them.

They were all busy during the recording of the video so I opted to sit nowhere near the cameras and join the zoom meeting with Lei and her staff to finalize how the Gallery is going to be set-up and just an update on the progress of the artworks and the dealings with other artists who were contacted before the meeting was concluded and the zoom meeting ended.

I then opened TikTok pass the time when the 3rd video that I scrolled to was an edit by an account who seems to be Charles's fan, the video was a slideshow of screencaps of Charles's and Carlos's face where the frustrations and anger were very much visible from different YouTube videos with the song Unstoppable by Sia as its background music and just as the song approached the chorus of the song, the video showed clips from yesterday's race where Carlos defended against Checo and Charles defended against Max during the laps where he was in the lead.

The video made me smile, so I liked the video and added it to my favorites before I shared it on my Instagram story and tagged the 2 Cs before I went back to scrolling on TikTok.

They finished recording the video around 5:30 PM so we decided to go have dinner all together before we headed to the airport.
