I quickly shut my eyes again, praying to God that he couldn't feel my heart racing or see my cheeks that were about the same amount of brightness as Rudolf's fucking nose.
"Are you asleep?" He whispered incredulously, leaning over a bit, sighing in defeat, "Damnit."
He scooted down further into the sheets, pulling me closer to him, taking a deep breathe before falling asleep.
I stared at the ceiling for what felt like hours, the tips of my fingers tingling and skin burning every time I thought about what happened.
He just said 'I love you'. To me.
I squeezed my eyes shut for a second, opening them back up in hopes of waking up.
"Shit..." I whispered, rubbing my eyes, "I just... need to go to sleep. I'll talk to someone in the morning." I mumbled to myself, snuggling deeper into Niall's side, his hand sliding to my lower back, the pad of his pointer finger resting in the dimple of my back.
I gently kissed his chest, closing my eyes.

"Sophia, we need to talk. Right now." I said urgently in my phone, walking home from Music Appreciation.
"Can this not wait until dinner, it's literally an hour away." she whined.
"What could you be doing that this extremely important conversation has to wait until dinner?" I asked, practically sprinting to the dorm.
"I'm watching Real Housewives of New Jersey."
I groaned, stomping up the stairs.
"What? This show gets intense, especially when they begin arguing over who's wealthier."
"Sophia." I whined.
She groaned, "Fine. I'm in our dorm."
"I know." I said as I walked in, slamming it closed, dropping my things as I walked.
"Okay," Sophia began, "What's so important-"
"He said 'I love you'."
Her eyes widened in shock. "He did?"
I nodded, biting my lip furiously.
"What did you say?" She asked, leaning forward a bit. I looked down, "I didn't."
"Delaney Irwin!" She screeched.
I shook my head, "I-I panicked! Besides, he thinks that I fell asleep before he told me."
"So in his mind he still hasn't said it."
"Yeah."
She whistled lowly, "You have to tell him now."
My eyes bugged out, "What? Why?"
She glared, "Why? Because he's said it!"
"But-But he's gonna say it again, because he thinks I didn't hear him the first time." I argued. She shook her head.
"No, he built the courage up enough to tell you, and you chickened out. Now you have to grow a pair and tell him, because he's to scared to say it again."
"Are you-Are you sure?" I stuttered, fumbling my hands together.
"Yeah, pretty sure."
"Crap." I muttered into my hands, flopping on her bed.
"You need to do it tonight."
I groaned loudly, rubbing my eyes, nearly in tears with mixed emotions and confusion.
