"Surprise!"
I gasped, sitting upright with the speed of light, my blurred gaze falling on the line of people standing before me.
"Mum?!"
She grinned, "Hello sweetheart," her arms held out wide. I kept still, staring at them in pure shock.
"Alright," she put them back down, gesturing to the boys, "Go get sissy!"
The boys jumped onto my bed, wrapping me in hugs. I snapped out of my trance, hugging them back. "Hey guys, what a surprise! No one told me all of you would be coming here today at the ungodly hour of 8:30." I said through gritted teeth, looking at mom.
"We figured now was better than later, and guess what, Chad had vacation to use, so we get to stay here for two weeks!"
"What the hell, really?" I groaned.
"Hey, watch it."
"No, seriously, why couldn't you guys have called ahead of time, college is stressful mum, I need time to plan ahead so I can spend time with all of you." I explained, holding the boys.
"Excuse us for surprising you, we thought you'd enjoy seeing us."
I sighed, looking down. "I do enjoy seeing you guys, you're my family. You just took me by surprise, that's all."
"Well, we'll remember to not surprise you ever again. What classes do you have today?"
"Theatre and music and music apprec."
"When do they start?" Mum asked.
"10."
"Good, just enough time to eat. Get dressed while we get Ashton."
I yawned, nodding. When all of them left the room, I groaned, falling forward.
"What are they doing here?" I heard Sophia mutter. "I wish I knew."
I stood up and got dressed, heading out of the door to Ashton's.
I knocked a few times, walking inside, finding my family sitting on the couch, and all of the boys sitting prim and proper around them, extremely awkward. I couldn't help but snort.
"Are we ready to go?"
"Yep, you boys wanna come with us?" Chad asked. I looked over at them, their eyes saying no, but their stomachs saying yes.
"Uh, yeah sure."
I glanced over at Ashton, seeing his face in his hands. I laughed, walking out to their car.

"So," mum said, setting her elbows on the table. All of us fell silent, "Um.. Yeah?"
"How's school been? Making good grades?"
"Well," Michael chuckled, "For the most part."
Calum smacked his arm.
"You're not vandalising things again, are you?" Mum said, not sounding the least bit concerned.
