The car ride was dead silent. Neither of us had anything to say to each other.

Eventually, Niall cleared his throat. "So, Delaney."

"Niall."

"How old are you?" he asked, his eyes staying glued to the road.

"19."

"Really?" he asked. I turned to him. "Yeah."

"I thought you were older." He shrugged. I cocked an eyebrow. "How old did you think I was?"

He shrugged. "20, 21."

I snorted. "No, I'm not that old. What about you?"

"I turned 20 in September." He said, pushing his hair our of his eyes. I nodded, turning back to face the front.

"So, where are you from?" I asked. I could see him smile in the corner of his eyes. "Mullingar, Westmeath," He said, "What about you?"

"Clonbroney, Longford." I said. I looked down at my nails, examining them.

"That's not very far away." He said. I shook my head. "No, it's not. I've actually been through Mullingar a few times."

"No kidding." He said, looking at me. I nodded. "I have an aunt who lives in Dublin, we would visit her every once in a while when we still lived Ireland." I said. He nodded, turning into a parking spot. "We're here."

I unbuckled myself, opening my door. Is this the usual Niall, or is it just an act. Even though I've had now only three encounters with this guy, this is my most favourite one.

We walking into the small Nandos, the smell of chicken was overwhelming. The moment the fumes hit my nose, my mouth instantly began watering. I was starving.

"Hi, we would like two orders of Peri Peri chicken, please." He said. The cashier punched the order in, and Niall paid for the food.

"I could have paid for myself." I said. He shrugged.

We waited for our order, it soon coming to us. We dug into our food.

I swallowed the piece of chicken in my mouth. "So, what should our song be?" I said. He looked up from his plate with a confused look. "The what?"

"The song. The reason we are here, to figure out what we are going to do about it." I explained. He shook his head. "Oh yeah, right."

I pushed my food to the side a bit, facing him.

"So, I was thinking it could be a duet." He said. I stopped twiddling my thumbs. "A duet?"

"Yes, so we will have to work on the lyrics, and the tune of the song." He explained. I bit the inside of my cheek. I don't like to sing in front of people, it makes me feel uncomfortable. On the spot.

"I was thinking we could both work on them, each of us taking part." He said. I nodded slowly, keeping quiet. "S-sounds good."

He nodded, eating some more chicken. "So, we can meet up every once in a while and show each other what we've got."

I nodded again, pushing my chicken around with my fork. We finished our food later, throwing our trash away. He drove me back to the sorority house.

"Thank you." I said, getting out. He set his hand on my arm, making me turn to him. He smiled at me. "My pleasure. Have a nice night, Delaney." He said. He leaned over and kissed my jaw, sending chills down my spine and into my toes. I gave him a small smile in return, climbing out. I walked back to my room, sighing before walking in. Luckily, Cami wasn't there to question me.
