"I jus don ge i soties." I said, stuffing a scoop of ice cream into my mouth. The boys furrowed their eyebrows. "What?"
"I just don't," I swallowed, "Get it sometimes."
The formed an 'o' with their lips, nodding for me to continue.
"I mean, I'm not a piece of meat. Pieces of meat don't have a conscience, or feelings, or legs. They don't have any fucking legs." I scowl, throwing my hand up in annoyance, eating another scoop of mint chocolate chip, taking a swig of beer.
"Did you tell him that?" Calum asked, shoving popcorn into his mouth. I scoffed, stabbing the frozen dessert with my spoon. "I don't want to talk to him right now."
"You can't just give him the silent treatment forever-"
"Yes I can."
"She really can bro, remember when you dropped her favourite perfume and broke it? She didn't talk to you for months." Michael said, taking a drink of his beer.
Calum rolled his eyes. "Why would you bring that up, nows she gonna ignore me the rest of the night."
Michael rolled his eyes. "What did Niall do to you, Laney?" He asked.
I looked down, "Say you actually had a girlfriend for once-"
"Ouch."
"-And you heard your friends talking about how much they wanted to fuck her straight to the moon. What would you do?"
Calum scoffed. "I'd beat the hell out of them."
Michael nodded. "That's disrespectful, I wouldn't let any of my friends talk about her that way anywhere near me."
"Well, it seems to me that Niall is okay with it and actually went along with his friends. He wouldn't listen to me when I told him to stop, and then he did it again."
It was silent. I looked up at them, their faces stone hard, jaws set in anger. "He what?"
My eyes widened in fear, shaking my head. "No no, guys don't-"
"No one degrades my sister like that." Calum nearly shouted. I jumped, staring in fear as they stood up, stomping to the door. I launched myself out of the chair, blocking the doorway.
"You guys, don't."
"We can't let him get away with that, that's horrible." Michael argued. I shook my head, gently pushing them away. "You two have been drinking, you guys, you're not very level headed."
Calum scoffed. "You were drinking too."
"But I wasn't about to charge out the door like a crazed bull, was I?"
He looked away, then back at me, his bottom lip pouting a bit. "No."
I smiled. "Go sit down, guys, I came to hang out with you two, not bail you out of jail for assault."
Michael snorted, patting Calum's back, walking back into the living room.
"Do you wanna play Xbox?" Michael asked, holding up a controller. I shrugged, nodding "Why not."
He threw it to me, turning the console on. "FIFA, COD, or Halo."
"FIFA, of course." I said, crossing my legs on the couch, draping a blanket over me. He turned the game on, Cal and I on a team against Mikey. We ended up winning.
"Who sucks ass, Calum?" I asked teasingly, pointing my ear towards his direction. He grinned, placing a hand on his hip girlishly. "Michael sucks ass!"
"You both suck dicks, shut up." he said, sneezing. I laughed, his sneeze was adorable.
"Stop laughing at my sneezes, you've been laughing at them our entire lives!" He whined.
