I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I peeled my eyes open, slamming it off. I yawned, stretching.
This day is gonna be fun. I thought.
I threw my duvet to the side, setting my feet on the carpet. I grabbed my toiletries and clothes to change into after my shower. I look over, seeing Cami completely under her blankets. I sighed, grabbing a towel and walked to the bathroom.
I threw my stuff on the counter, turning the water on. I brushed through my tangled mess and hopped in.
I hummed to Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons as I washed my hair.
"But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really f-"
"Bitch!" Sophia screamed, making me slip. "Fuck!" I shouted, slipping and falling down, hitting my forehead on the corner of the tub. I groaned as the water hit my face. "Sophia!" I shouted angrly.
"What?"
"You made me fall. My forehead is throbbing." I spat.
"Sorry Lane! I didn't mean to scare you that bad!" she apologised. I stood up, finishing up my shower. I turned the water off and climbed out, drying myself off. I put my clothes on and towel dried my hair. I cleaned my teeth and made my exit.
"Get in the shower." I yelled to Sophia. She scurried past me and into the bathroom. I walked into my room, towel in hand.
I looked around for Cami, but her bed was empty.
She must've went to her sister's room. I thought. I walked to my drawers and looked for clothes to wear today, when Sophia walked in. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Cami kicked me out of my room to talk to Michelle. I didn't know what was going on so I just grabbed my clothes and came in here." she said. I groaned.
"If you didn't want me in here you could've said so." she said, setting her bag on my bed. I rubbed my face. "It's not you, Cami is mad at me."
"What happened?" she asked. I looked through my clothes as I spoke.
"You know how Cami gets all twitchy if you say the name 'Niall Horan'?"
She nodded.
"Well, I did a little research on the guy and found out that him and Cami had a one night stand, and he never talked to her again. It turns out that she thought is was something more when he clearly didn't, so she kept trying until her first year ended." I said, finding a grey shirt.
She whistled. "Damn."
"Yeah, and I asked her about him and I made her upset, and now she won't talk to me."
"I wouldn't."
I yanked the shirt over my head. "Sophia, I'm tring not to feel as bad."
she shrugged. "I mean, that's a sensitive topic for her. I'd be upset too if someone brought it back up." I sighed. "You're right."
"When am I not?"
I stuck my tongue out at her. "Hilarious. come on, we'll be late for our classes." I said, pulling out jean shorts. I tugged them on, putting on some black converse and stuck my hair in a pony tail. I put on some make up and grabbed my bag and phone.
"Ready?" I asked Sophia. She finished tying her shoes and stood up. "Ready. Let's get going."
We walked down the sidewalk, parting ways when we reached ous classes.
