I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I sighed, rolling over to go back to sleep, but I slipped off my bed, plummeting to the ground.
"Fucking God!" I shouted. Cami shot up. "Call the priest." She said. I looked up at her, my hair strung over my face. "Cami."
She rubbed her eyes. "What?"
"Cami."
"What?"
"Please help me." I pleaded, trying to untangle myself. She looked over, laughing. "How do you even manage?"
I frowned. "Can you just help me?"
She got out of bed and pulled me out of the blankets. I thanked her and walked to my closet, pulling out a simple white t shirt and skinny jeans. I put on white converse and straightened my hair, letting it reach to the middle of my back. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and put on makeup. I make it back to the room and grab my phone. I go to walk out the door when I remembered my bag.
"Niall." I groan.
"He has your bag, doesn't he?" Cami said. I nodded.
"Just go to class, maybe he'll bring it." she said. I sighed. "Ok."
I walked to my class, guitar in hand. Everyone else was there, and I see no sign of Niall anywhere.
As I made my way to my seat and unpacked my guitar, strumming different tunes.
I heard Niall snort. I looked up at him, glaring.
Old Niall again.
"Can't stop staring?" he smirked.
"Ass." I muttered, continuing to play. I peak over and see him with his bag and guitar, but not my bag.
He got his guitar out and began playing loudly, overpowering my sound. I look over at him in annoyance.
"Something wrong?" he taunted, still playing.
"You're playing is obnoxiously loud, mind toning it down a bit?"
He shrugged, like he was contemplating it. "Are you jealous that it sounds better?"
"I'm not sure I can be jealous of no talent."
"Wanna test that theory?" he challenged. I snorted. "You mean actually do something with you? No thanks."
He laughed. "Sounds like you're scared."
"I'm not scared."
He just laughed, still playing his guitar. I had enough of his taunting. I know doing this would make me stoop down to his idiotic level, but I felt like putting him in his place. I stood up, and began playing Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne. Everyone began hollering, cheering me on. Niall smirked and started playing Smoke on the Water by Deep purple.
We began playing different songs at each other, each one of us overpowering the other. It began getting pretty intense between us, and soon, people from other classes were piling into the room, watching.
We both had reach tremendous speeds. I could feel my hand cramping up from playing so long and fast. I look up and see Niall, his forehead glistening with sweat.
"Ready to give up?" He huffed at me, smirking. I laughed. "Not a chance."
He frowned, changing his song to Afterlife by Avenged Sevenfold, a winning smirk played on his lips. My eyes widened, that's an incredibly difficult song to play, and he's playing it well.
