"Hi mum."

"Sweetheart! How's college?" My mother waved to the screen.

"I'm not failing yet so pretty good." I joked. She laughed, calling my brothers over.

"Hi sissy!" They yelled into the phone, both trying to stick their faces in the cameras view. I laughed, "Hi boys, what's going on?"

"I found a frog!" Tyler shouted gleefully. I grinned, "Awesome bud!"

"I licked it!" David countered. Though my face showed it, I wasn't the least bit surprised.

"That's... Cool! I miss you guys."

"We miss you a lot." They pouted. I jutted my lower lip out, "Aw, don't worry, Ashton and I will be home for Christmas."

"No you won't, we're-"

Mum placed her hands on both of the boys mouths, sending them off to play somewhere. "Don't listen to them, how have you and Ashton been?"

I shrugged, "We're great, I get to hang out with the guys again."

"That's good, has Luke said anything to you about his little crush?"

I frowned, "You knew?"

Her eyes went wide, "Shit, that wasn't suppose to be said."

I shook my head, "It's okay, we solved that."

"So you two are dating?"

I scrunched up my nose, "No mum, Luke is a brother to me, yeah I know, I family zoned him, but that's all."

"Well, just for my selfish reason, I hope you actually date that boy, because he's probably the best one you can find."

I rolled my eyes, a deep frown setting in. "He's not Jesus, mum. There are other guys."

She sighed, "Well alright, if you think so-"

"I know so."

"Fine," she snapped, "But don't cry to me when a scum hurts you, and Luke is taken. I'd be more than happy to say that I told you to take my advise."

"Oh, because you have so much room to give me dating advise, look at the guy you married!"

"Delaney!" She screeched. I shook my head, "I have to go."

I ended the FaceTime, squeezing the bridge of my nose between my fingers.

"Whatever." I muttered, walking out of my dorm and straight to Ashton's.

"Hey Ash?" I called, knocked on the door. He opened the door, letting me in.

"What's up?" He asked, lying on the couch. I sat in a beanbag, frowning at my hands, "I called home."

"You did? Who all was there?"

"David, Ty and mum, that's all I saw."

"Dad wasn't there?"

"Don't think he's want to talk to me." I snorted.

"True."

"But mum went on about... About Luke and stuff, saying that he was probably the only decent boy I can ever date in my life."

Ashton scrunched his face up, "Luke? Our Luke?"

"Yeah, that one."

"He's not decent, what the hell?"

"That's what I was saying!" I threw my hands up, "And then she said that when I get my heart broken by some 'scum', and Luke gets taken, that I should've took her advise."
