The next day, after Selena's rehearsal around six in the evening she goes to apartment she is renting for awhile while she is in the city, to take a shower and change clothes.
Selena grabs her phone from the her bag and dials Y/N's number. It takes three rings before the younger woman answers.
"Hi.", Y/N greets, Selena smiles.
"I'm hoping you haven't eaten dinner yet because I'm thinking of having dinner outside together?'
"I haven't... Now?", the younger woman asks.
"No tomorrow. Of course now.", Selena chuckles, and hears noises coming from Y/N's end.
"What happened to you?", she asks confused about the noises she is hearing from her end.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier. I haven't taken a shower yet!", Y/N freaks out.
"You can take your time. We're not in a rush.", the singer says laughing at the younger woman's reaction. She can tell her rolling her eyes at her.
“Do I need to wear anything?”, Y/N asks.
“Whatever you're comfortable wearing.”
“Okay. Send me the address, and I'll be there.”
“You better be.”, Selena turns her speaker on and sends the younger the address.
“I will.”, they hang up after that.
Y/N immediately jumps off the bed and goes straight to the bathroom to take a bath and prepare for the unexpected dinner outside. After that, just what was told her, she wears something that she's comfortable wearing a fitted jeans and a white blouse. She puts a little make up on before finishing up. She feeds Charlotte and says goodbye to it getting out of the apartment, locking it.
‘I'll be there at twenty :)’, she hits send.
She goes to the lobby to see Roger waiting for her. She miles and greets the older man before walking to car which is in its hazard near the entrance. Y/N tells the address after they drive from the building.
After approximately twenty minutes, Y/N arrives at the address Selena sent her.
“Thank you. I'll message when I'm done.”, Y/N says before stepping out of the vehicle. Roger follows behind even after he was told by Y/N there's no need to, but he has to make sure Y/N steps in the restaurant safely.
She looks around. Although it is a busy street and city, there's not many people around the area. Perfect for someone who doesn't want to be seen.
“I told you it's fine.”, but Roger ignores her.
Y/N sighs when Roger didn't follow her behind when she enters the restaurant.
She was about to message the singer where she is but stops when a woman greets her.
“Good evening.”, she smiles and greets back at the lady in front that greets her.
“Are you Ms. L/N?”
Y/N smiles, “Yes.”
“Follow me, please.”, the place inside looks simple yet classy. Most tables are occupied but the place doesn't look crowded.
She follows the woman and the woman leads her to where Selena is.
“Thank you.”, she says to the woman before turning to Selena.
“Hi. Am I late?”, Selena's face lights up when she sees her and stands up to greet Y/N with a hug.
“No. Don't worry about.”, they pull away.
