Y/N is in her room looking for clothes to wear. She just came out of the shower. She promised herself that she is going to furniture shops this day, the thing she had been promising to do. Luckily, she won't have to rush because Mandy took care of the downpayment process for her and the apartment is officially hers.
After that she goes to the kitchen to eat something light first before going out. She feels a little hungry. Y/N decides to eat the cookie Raquelle gave them to compensate for not being able to go with Selena the other day.
She is scrolling through her social media when she hears footsteps. Y/N looks up to see Selena pulling the hoodie over her head. The Latina looks like she's going somewhere.
“Uh, where are you going?”, Y/N asks after she swallows.
“I'm coming with you.”, Selena says walking towards her and gets a cookie.
“I told you it's okay.”
“I know but I promised you!”, Selena argues.
“You didn't actually promise it.”, Y/N says in a matter-of-fact tone.
Selena sighs knowing she actually didn't, “But I want to!”, she pouts.
“You just came from chemo, baby.”, Y/N says walking to the Latina.
“It was two days ago. I'm fine.”, the skin where the needle was stuck in the Latina to get the drug in her system is still visible, and it still has a bruise. Y/N is so careful with it since she accidentally poked it. She is actually slightly poking it to tease her.
Y/N holds Selena's hand that had the needle, caressing it with her thumb. “Does it still hurt?”
“No.”, she says bringing it up before clenching it, open and close.
“Can I go with you, please?”
Y/N sighs. How could she say no to that. “You're not lying when you say you're okay now, right?”, Selena nods.
“Okay.”, Selena gets out of being cornered between the younger and the counter and does a little dance.
“But behave.”, Y/N says trying to have a serious face but fails when she is doing that little happy dance.
Selena stops, “I am behave.”, she says. Y/N rolls her eyes at the Latina's reply.
After that, they prepare for their destination. Y/N puts Charlotte in her capsule. Y/N doesn't let Selena to drive. She drives while the two of their security follows behind. They want to have their own time together while driving to the city.
Y/N was worried at first because what if someone spotted them and tips it off to paparazzi. Selena assures the younger that if anyone spotts them, then they are spotted. It is something they have no control off. Plus, Rob, and Roger are with them.
Y/N wears the capsule backpack after she gets the cat from the passenger seat. Selena watches the Charlotte shows her head on the round window.
“Look! Our little astronaut here!”, Selena cues taking multiple shots of the cat while she has it on video recording. She shows Y/N the pictures after. “Send that to me.”, Selena hums while she is busy posting it on her Instagram.
The two women tell their security to be at twenty feet away from them. Which at first earns ‘no's’ from the gentlemen but nod after they charm them in saying ‘okay’.
Y/N walks around looking for furniture she needs for while Selena follows behind. Selena decides to get Charlotte from her girlfriend while she looks around.
While Y/N is talking to the salesperson, there are some people who recognizes Selena. Some are some fans who walk in the shop to take a photo with her. Since Selena is a little worried about disturbing the buyers, she politely asks the group of strangers to have it done outside the shop, they agree. She has a little chat with; ‘how are you's’, ‘what are you doing here?’.
“Who are you with?”, one fan asks.
“Y/N. She's inside looking for furniture.”, she says not giving much details on ‘why’ and ‘what for’. Selena sighs when they are not asking questions that would make uncomfortable. It is just a quick fun interaction.
“I was looking for you!”, Y/N says when she sees Selena walks in. “Who were they?”, she asks.
“Just a couple of fans.”, Y/N nods and goes back to why she was looking for the Latina.
“Do you think this is okay?”, Y/N is careful on talking with Selena when they are in public space. She's careful not to slip the petname she gave her. But the other woman doesn't care about it.
“I'm lost, hun.”, Y/N gives her a look when the Latina intentionally let that petname escaped her lips. Selena ignores her and looks at what Y/N is asking. She has no idea what's Y/N's apartment looks like. So, it's difficult for her to answer. When Y/N realizes it, she shows her the 360° view of the apartment.
After Selena answers her question. She adds that to the list of items she will buy. Selena helps her to look for kitchenwares. After that, Y/N pays for it. They will not take it home, it will be delivered at her new address for a couple of days, at least that's what they told her.
It is almost lunch when they step out of the store. Y/N tries to get the capsule from Selena but the Latina turns her back away from her.
“No, I'm enjoying it!”, Y/N smiles when Selena walks away. She takes a picture of it before running to catch up.
“Wait up!”
“Hurry up! I'm hungry!”, the Latina says intentionally walking faster. Both women are not running, and the two gentlemen who are twenty feet away from them, are running as well, trying to catch up and not lost them.
People are giving them looks but for the first time, Y/N doesn't care and isn't bothered by it.
