Selena is wearing shades and a cap that compliments her black loose shirt and skinny jeans when Y/N sees her from the corner ten meters away from the entrance where the passengers disembark. Selena stops in the middle and looks around for Y/N. The Latina has Rob with her, wearing a simple white t-shirt and pants.
‘Where are u?’, a message from Selena pops on her screen. Y/N smiles and types 'look up' and hits send.
Selena's face brightens up when she spots her after she sees the message and starts walking towards her. Y/N purposely hides on the big round concrete on the side, pulling Roger with her, when the Latina was looking around for her.
Y/N does the same, walks towards Selena. The older woman just lets her luggage roll when she lets go of it to embrace her girlfriend.
It is a busy airport and no one seems to notice the two women or people just choose to mind their business and let them have their moment. However, there are a couple of young fans who notice the two, however, they simply take continuous shots of them and a short clip and post it on their fan accounts.
“I miss you.”, the Latina says pulling Y/N closer, closing every possible gap between them.
“I miss you, too.”, Y/N replies while her head buries the Latina's shoulder. In the background, Selena's luggage rolled away from them but before it could roll more, Roger grabbed it.
Selena just flew back from New York a week of shooting for 'Only Murders In the Building', and as much as Y/N wanted to go with her but she had three events to attend which were based in LA. Both of them are really trying to align their schedules but there are some things that are out of their control.
The two security with them advised the two women to get going. The two older men notice a shift of atmosphere at the airport —all eyes and phones are out— unlike before Selena arrives. Probably, someone has already posted their location online. They don't want the two women to get bombarded since it's only two security and a driver who's with them.
Y/N looks around and she sees some of the attention directed towards them. A group of people calls her name; Y/N turns and gives them a small smile which earns a cheer from them. She feels a hand gently placed on her waist making her turn back around.
“Let's go.”, Selena says to Y/N before turning to the same group of people, supposed fans, when they tried to get her attention.
Selena holds her luggage by her side as they start to walk. Y/N tries to get it from the Latina but Selena already reads what will happen and walks a little faster.
“Sel..”, Y/N trying to reach for it but since the luggage has its little wheels, it's easier for the Latina to dodge Y/N's attempt.
“No.”, Y/N whines and then she stops after that knowing she will not win and just walks after Selena who walks a little faster than her.
The two older men with them just keep up with their walking phase, pretending they are not acquainted with the two; Rob walking in front, and Roger at the back... Especially, Roger who's seeing the scene clearly in front of him. Poor man trying not to laugh but anyone can see a little itching smile on the side of his lips as they walk.
They just cuddle up throughout the ride while songs softly play on the radio.
Y/N yawns which don't go unnoticed by the Latina.
“You should sleep”, she softly says.
“No.”, Y/N says pulling her head off Selena's shoulder.
“Don't be stubborn now. I'll wake you up when we arrive”, Selena says as she lifts her arm for the younger to take in.
