Chapter 27

Months had passed by, Selena and Y/N celebrated their anniversary every month. The younger woman had given the lucky charm necklace she bought in their second month, and the Latina have never worn it out. She always has it on whenever she goes, and only takes it off when necessary, like a photoshoot, but most of the time she sneaks off when she can.

"Uh-... Ms. Gomez, the necklace?", one of the staff asks.

"Can't I wear this?", the staff just gives her a sad smile. Selena sighs and wears it off.

"Take care of that.", the Rare Beauty owner says, handing the jewelry. "If something happens to that, I'll deduct that to your salary", Selena wants to say something about that staff getting fired but that would be too harsh.

The staff immediately nods his head getting intimidated by the Latina.

"Sel, leave the poor guy alone.", Y/N says. She apologizes to the guy, and politely takes the necklace from him, and says she got it. Y/N just watches her girlfriend from five feet away while she is having her make up, and hair done.

Selena gives her a glare. She gets confused with her mouth agape, and looks at the Latina in question. Selena gets call to get in the front of the camera to start the shoot.

"What did I do?", Y/N asks the people around her. They all shrug and keep quiet. Y/N puts the necklace in her small pouch before placing it in her bag.

Once, they are done with Selena. Y/N comes next. This is the third photoshoot she has for the make-up line since she signed the contract. This is the first time she had it with Selena. Selena arranged their schedule so they could get it together and since she is the owner she had no difficulty in doing that.

"Perfect!", the photographer, Elise, says, clicking two more shots before going to another product.

"Can you do this...?", Elise puts her hand holding an invisible product near her cheek to demonstrate it.

Y/N does it. "Like that! Okay, don't move!", the model can't but giggles when Elise hurried up to get her shots. Y/N can't stop smiling but Elise just takes simultaneous shots.

Selena on the other hand, just watches from her seat, glaring at the photographer. She goes away after the accessories in her hair, and jewelry is off of her, not liking what she is seeing. It's giving her sore eyes.

"Okay, we're done!", Elise announces after she looks on her camera lenses.

After that, Y/N thanks Elise and other staff and goes to a room to get change into comfortable clothes. She goes around looking for her girlfriend.

"Have you seen Selena?", she asks the two staff she meets in the hallway.

"I saw her enter her room.", one of them respond. Y/N nods and thanks them before going on her way there.

Y/N knocks and when she receives no response, she slowly opens the door, peaking her head. She sees Selena on her phone talking to somebody. Y/N silently closes the door and walks inside.

The Latina looks in Y/N's direction, "Alright, thank you so much.", Selena says to the person on the other line before dialing another number.

"It will be delivered. Please, get in from the lobby and give it to everyone in the photoshoot earlier. Thank you.", she says before ending the call.

"Go back to your girlfriend.", Selena says before Y/N even gets the chance to step her foot. The younger woman looks at her for a while thinking what she meant by that.

"But you are my girlfriend...?", Y/N asks not sure where the woman is coming from. She slowly walk towards her girlfriend, wanting to hold her. She wraps her arms around Selena, and tightens it when she doesn't resist.
