Chapter 25

“She didn't tell you?”

“Yes.”, Y/N says after she sips her drink. The meeting just ended half an hour ago and Y/N is just loitering in the meeting room with Mandy and the other staff who are doing paperwork since no one needs it, yet.

“I don't have much information on why's. Better ask her about it.”, Mandy advises. Y/N nods in agreement.

“I got to go.”, Y/N says once she feels bored watching them, and does nothing. She stands up, putting her shoulder bag on.

“Okay. I'll just email you the details for contract signing next week.”, the model nods and says thank you and goodbye to them. She goes to the lobby and Roger is waiting for her.

They walk to the car on-hazard lights waiting by the entrance. Y/N hopps in, settling inside.

“If you see any bagel or doughnut shop, we'll stop over.”, Roger nods. Y/N is craving for a bagel or doughnut.

After a few minutes, they see a bagel shop. Y/N hopps out of the car and goes inside. There are quite people, so, it takes awhile for her order to come. She ordered a cup of coffee and a piece of best selling bagel in the shop for Roger for waiting for her while she ordered one piece each of best sellers for her and Selena, if the Latina is still in her home.

“Here.”, she says giving the man her meal after she gets in.

“You don't have to but thank you.”, Roger smiles and sees Y/N does the hand flick signing it's nothing through the front view mirror.

It takes an hour for them to arrive to Y/N's apartment since they got stuck in the traffic due to road accident that happened. Roger offers to hold the bag of bagels while Y/N unlocks the door.

“Thank you.”, she says once she gets her bagels from him. Roger says goodbye and drives off. The car is the company's so, it doesn't stay with her but with Roger. The older man doesn't live with her and works for her full-time. He is just on duty when Y/N needs a driver and security.

She sees Selena's car parked next to hers. The apartment comes with small garage that fits two cars in.

The younger woman gets in and greets by Charlotte who circles around her legs. Y/N can't pick her up due to the food she's holding. She places it on the kitchen counter before picking up the feline, who snuggles on her neck.

“Where's Sel?”, she asks the cat although she knows it won't answer. She walks to the room to see the Latina sitting comfortably in her bed wearing a reading glass, reading one of her books.

“You didn't tell me you have a make-up brand!”, she says barging in not caring on how it sounded to the Latina. Charlotte jumps off Y/N.

“You're home. Sorry, I didn't hear you came in.”, the older woman says putting down the book after she puts a bookmark in it, ignoring the woman's words.

“I see you received the news.”, Selena smiles. “And, we haven't launched it, yet.”, she calmly says, trying to read the atmosphere and the woman in front of her.

“When are you going to tell me? We should celebrate it! I'm happy for you!”, Selens feels a relief. She got scared for a second there.

“Thank, God! I thought you're mad or something.”, the Latina says relaxing her body back on the pillow.

“Huh? Why would you think that?”, Y/N looks at her confused.

“You're the who barged in asking about it like you're looking for a fight.”

Y/N laughs, “Sorry about that.”

“They mentioned about the contract. Why didn't you tell me?”, Y/N whines flopping her body on the Latina abdomen. Selena adjusts so that Y/N's head is on her abdomen.

“Surpise?”, Selena says awkwardly, and Y/N laughs.

“Yeah, I got suprised twice!”, she says slapping slightly Selena's side. The Latina laughs catching her hand.

“I can't believe it.”, Y/N says looking at the ceiling while Selena runs her fingers through the younger's hair.

“Are you sure?”, Y/N says looking up at her.

Selena leans down to kiss he lips, “A thousand percent, darling.”, she replies making Y/N rolls her eyes at the petname she told the Latina she hated because it's sounds old. But it gives a ticklish feeling in her stomach, she won't admit it but Selena knows it.

“When's the contract signing?”, the Latina asks.

“They said next week, and I have to start also next week.”, Y/N replies.

“That's good, you won't be unemployed next week.”

“Shut up!”, Selena laughs loudly.

“I guess, I'll see you around the building.”, Y/N humms.

“Yeah.”

There is a comfortable silence between them and they stay like that for a minute before Y/N speaks up.

“You didn't tell me, you'll create a make-up brand. I should've applied as the chemist.”, Y/N says out of nowhere.

The Latina snigger, looking at her confused, not understanding what she meant by that.

“I had Chemistry degree in college.”, she says.

“Don't worry if one of our chemists resigns, you'll get the spot.”, Selena giggles but doesn't know if the younger woman is serious or not.

“No, thanks!”, although she misses her previous job but she's happier now with what she has.

“Then, why did you say that?!”, Selena looks at her like crazy.

“I don't know.”, Y/N laughs not understanding herself either.

“You're crazy!”, the Latina giggles before she leans down kissing her. Y/N kisses back, placing her hand on Selena's head to pull her down.

The Latina pulls away but she gets pull back by Y/N, who gets eager. Y/N finds her way to stradle the Latina with breaking the kiss.

Y/N pulls away when she felt a hard thing poking her knee. She puts the book on the night stand before kissing her again.

“Sorry about that, I got bored.”, Selena says in their kiss, referring to the book she was reading because she knows how careful the younger brunette is to her books.

“Don't worry. I don't mind.”, Y/N kisses her again after she replies. Y/N feels the Latina's hand goes under her shirt, stopping on her left breast.

Y/N pulls away, making Selena groans at the lost of contact, desperate for more. Selena watches her stand up and look around before locking the door.

“We don't want a cat jumping on us, do we?”, the younger woman says crawling back on top of her, straddling the Latina.

“Now, where were we?”
