"We have reached our destination." GS-8, the droid had introduced herself as, announced.

Tech flipped his visor over his goggles, scanning for heat signatures inside the building across the street. "There are six exterior guards and multiple heat signatures inside. Four in the subterranean level." He reported.

Echo roughly shoved the white droid against the wall, him and Wrecker giving her mistrusting looks under their helmets. "Why do I get the feeling you're setting us up?"

"It is against my programming to send my allies into danger." GS-8 responded.

"We ain't allies, tin bin." Wrecker retorted.

Malaina could practically hear the eye roll coming from Hunter as he said, "Enough."

Malaina crouched down between Tech and Hunter, reaching out with her senses to keep alert. "First thing we need to do is take out the surveillance system in the compound."

Hunter nodded in agreement. "Let's move."

The squad plus GS-8 navigated their way to the compound, sneaking past a security camera while it was facing the other direction.

Wrecker took out one regular clone, Malaina took out two. They made it to the side of the compound, looking past the corner to see the last two guards standing just outside the entrance.

"Time to make yourself useful." Hunter says, pushing the droid out in the open.

"I do not possess a military skill set for a tactical advantage." GS-8 protested, starting to walk back towards the squad.

"We know." Malaina responded, pushing the droid away. Finally, GS-8 took a step, immediately getting noticed by the regs standing guard.

"You! This is a restricted area!" One of them said.

GS-8 lifted her head. "To whom are you addressing? This is my master's residence. I suggest you leave before-" The troopers began approaching her. "Oh dear." She mutters, retreating back around the corner where Malaina and the armored soldiers were waiting.

"Stop!" The second clone trooper ordered, turning the corner with his teammate. They were met with Malaina, who held out her hands and used the Force to blow them up against the wall, knocking them out easily.

Just like that they made it inside, splitting into two groups. Wrecker and Echo moved out to clear the upper levels while Malaina, Hunter, and Tech began running through the main floor and below.

"Droid, you're sticking with me." Hunter ordered, running inside behind the other two people in their smaller group.

The halls were dim, lit with wall lights that probably needed stronger light bulbs.

Unless dark and a little off-putting was what the Senator was going for.

Every few feet there were indents in the walls where artifacts sat on display for visitors to see. Malaina would have taken the time to admire each and every one of them if the injury on her abdomen wasn't throbbing and she wasn't in such a rush to get this mission over.

Hunter stopped at the corner that turned to reveal a shorter hall with a door. He peeked his head over to find out what they were dealing with. "There's two at the door."

Tech scanned the floor layout with his datapad. "I'm clocking four in the adjacent corridor."

"Malaina and I will handle them. You and Omega loop back around." Hunter ordered. Malaina furrowed her brows in confusion.

"That would be impossible, seeing as Omega is not on this mission." Tech reminded, tilting his head at the Sergeant.

"Ah, right." Hunter realized, shaking his head at himself.
