A private space

Y/n's pov

I have spent a day and a half building something. Me, tero, lo'ak and Kiri were building it. It is a tree house way high up, it is a surprise for neteyam. I want us to have a private space but if something happens these three people will know where to start looking. Today we were just finishing.

"lo'ak did you finish making that door" I asked him.
"yea tero is putting it in" he replied.
"Kiri do you need help making that cot" I asked her.
"yes" she laughed.
"alright so you seem to be having trouble, take a grass and weave it into the grass strips attached to the frame" I showed her how.
"alright that's easy enough, I can do it on my own thank you y/n" Kiri laughed.
"tero I wanna help you with the door, it looks like a two person job to put in" I said flying up to the balcony of the house.
You see there was one thing we did not have yet. A ladder.
"fine fine but you just hold it I will fasten it into place" he said.
"whatever" I rolled my eyes.

Once the door was in we began to decorate the interior. There was one big cot, a fire pit, table and seating, shelves that would one day have many pictures and I had flowers in vases around the home.
"oh neteyam is going to love it" Kiri said.
"yea I wish tsireya would do something like this for me" lo'ak joked.
"You are just not lucky enough" I laughed at him.
He rolled his eyes.

"so how are you going to show him" tero asked eagerly.
"well when we go on our daily fly I will lead him here land then see what he thinks" I shrugged.
"nice plan" lo'ak joked.
"yea really smooth" Kiri said.
"shut up" I rolled my eyes.

We went back to the village to find neteyam. I walked into one of the sully tents.
"hey Jake have you seen neteyam" I asked him.
"yea he's fishing with aonung he sold be back in a few minutes though" Jake said.
"OK thank you" I said leaving.
"sure thing kid" he said.

I left to get mine and neteyams rides ready. Anari was really easy to get saddled up because she was mine.
"hey girl" I said to her.
I tightened the saddle to her body it was easy now for the hard part sezejr neteyams ikran.
"easy boy" I said trying to be calming.
Slowly inching closer to him. Sezejr was a very feisty ikran to other na'vi that were not neteyam. I continued to move closer to the animal I was surprised when he calmly moved his head to my outstretched hand. This meant he accepted me as not a threat. He allowed me to put on the saddle and tighten it. It was not as hard as I expected but anari was still easier. Now to go find me try am.

Neteyam's pov

I got back from fishing with aonung to see y/n walking up to me.
"ready to go?" she asked handing me my flying eye covers.
"yes ma'am" I said.
"guess what" she smiled.
"what"
"I put a saddle on sezejr and he did not attack me" she said enthusiastically.
"that's cool"
"yea and now he's all ready to go"
"alright then let's go"

We mounted our rides and flew off. I usually follow her around through the sky. Today she was going on a totally different path.
"hey y/n um where are we going" I asked.
"You will see"
"is it going to take forever?"
"No we should be there soon enough"
"so there's a destination hmm?" I said jokingly.
"yes and it's a pretty cool one" she smiled.
"really?"
"yea I think you will like it a lot" she smiled.
"that's good"
"I made it myself"

That last thing she said really made my mind spin. She said that is was a location. Then she said she made it. Did she make a location? Now that I think about it,  it does not seem that weird to make a location. Hopefully it's not that far so I can walk around. I went from fishing to flying with a minute break in between.

"are we there yet" I asked her.
"does it look like we are there yet" she said gesturing to the view if trees and ocean a lot of ocean.
"nope I guess not" I laughed.

I swear if I have to sit on this animal for to much longer my butt is going to explode.

"how much longer" I asked.
"be patient we are almost there" she said sounding confused.
"why do you sound confused"
"we have been flying for 5 minutes and you are already complaining we have 5 more minutes left" she laughed.

Alright five is not that long I can survive five minutes. After a little bit y/n started to dive. She went through a small layer of branches just to land on one and jump down onto what looks like a tree house.

"did you make this y/n" I asked her.
"yes I did, for you now go inside" she smiled.
I went inside and there was a large cot, fire pit, flowers, and shelves and picture frames.
"it looks amazing y/n,  thank you why did you build this for me" I asked.
"I thought we just needed a private space for just you and me" she smiled.
"y/n I love it and it is amazing" I said then kissed her. "thank you" I smiled.
"I'm tired wanna take a nap" she asked.
"absolutely" I said.

And for the third time ever I fell asleep with y/n held tight in my arms.
