UNFASHIONABLY GEEKY

After I got home from school I began to realize that, Ivy the girl that hates me invited me to the beach just because I was dating someone popular.

I found it quite hilarious.

But now wasn't the time for laughing. I quickly laid out my bathers for tommorow, I couldn't help but cringe.

A bikini is all I have.... Will it look ok?

But I didn't have time to worry because my mind was elsewhere. Natalie or James wasn't at school today. I don't know if they are together doing what they do. Or something else, but it doesn't hurt to check.

I drove up into Natalies driveway. And knocked on the door. I wasn't even suprised to see someone other than Natalie or her parents answering the door, it was Nina, their maid.

I guess you could say they are pretty rich.

"Kerina, Dah-ling" I couldn't help but laugh, she was a women in her later twenties but she spoke like a 40 year old women.

I walked inside and admired my surroundings. So clean and white.

"I'm assuming you are here for Natalie, well I'd be careful up there." She warned me

"What do you mean?" I asked

"You'll find out." She said being very vague walking away towards the kitchen.

"The sass is strong in this one." I muttered to myself. Laughing at my star wars reference

I climbed the staircase and eventually found her room in the massive house.

I knocked on the door before entering as it was the polite thing to do. "Natalie? It's Kerina."

I opened the door and found a room covered in depressing paintings. Oh oh, I thought.

"Omg Natalie! Either the art teacher has set an assignment for 'the great depression' or something bad happened!" I gasped she only ever paints her emotions and these paintings are extremely depressing.

"James and I broke up." She wailed in between tears.

"What!? That little shit, what happened?" I gasped in shock. They were meant to be.

"Honestly I don't even know." She cried even harder "he just broke it off without warning." I rushed over and gave a hug to her.

"That is unnacceptable! I'm calling Jade and we are storming over there right now!" I called feel the anger bubbling up inside, no one ever does this to my friends.

"What?" She squeaked

"You heard me." Without warning I stormed out of her house while calling Jade and told her to meet me at James' house.

Jade and I walked up the driveway towards James front door.

"Wait so he broke up with her and she doesn't know why?" She asked confirming with what I said on the phone

I nodded "well I'm gonna beat his ass" she replied. I laughed a little.

He opened the door he looked a little shocked to see Jade and I standing at his door looking like we were ready to murder him.

"What did you do?" I yelled in his face.

Quickly he let us in when he realised what had made us so mad and he guided us to his room.

"I'm guessing you're here about Natalie." We both nodded eager for his explanation.

When he didn't say anything Jade thought it was time to say something.
