I never could comprehend
How someone could change your life
Change it for the better
And through all the fog
Make such a bright existence
It's easy to say the phrase
I love you
Cause everyone uses it
Even if they don't mean it
But it's hard to show it
And somehow you show it
Every day you do
And it makes me think
Why were my standards so low
Why was the bare minimum a text
I never had much self-love or value
But every day you make it change
I wish I knew your secret
For I'd use it on you
And hope I can do
what you do for me
