I love the rain
Even though
I bring an umbrella
The droplets hurt
They burn my skin
I can't touch
I can only see
The beauty
The rain brings
Kids run and jump
Splash and slipping
As I stand alone
Trying not to get hit
They invite to play
But I have to stay away
For even though its beauty
It's beauty I can not touch
The pain isn't worth
That much fun
Like crystal daggers
They would strike my skin
Leaving burns as cuts
Ruining my skin
I love the rain
So I sit and watch
Never to touch
Those crystal daggers
Or to slip and slide
To have some fun
I love the rain
I promise
But some things you love
You can't enjoy
For the world is cruel
And we're nothing but toys(December 6, 2022)
