Hair holds memories
But I won't cut my hair
Just to forget you
I'll dye it instead
For I have other memories
Better ones than yours
Ones with my family
Ones I'm not forgetting
Ones I'm letting grow
In the dyed overturn
Of past memories of you
Letting their memories
Spread like wildfire
All to forget what we were.(May 12, 2024)
