When I first saw death
I fell in love with them
Their suffocating presence
Their painful clawed hands
Their cruel insults toward me
and their coldnessI fell in love with death
So I flirted with them daily
Someone cut my noose
Someone took my razor
Someone complimented me sweetly
And Someone gave me warmthI fell in love with someone sweet
Who didn't blame me for flirting with death
Who was my inhaler against suffocation
Who's hands gently washed my claw marks
Who never let my dark insults stay dark
Who wrapped me in never-ending warmthSomeone fell in love with me
They fell in love with everything
My laughter which caused me to wheeze
My hands which "made art" in their eyes
My insecurities which made me special
My reptilian need for constant warmthTwo people fell in love with each other
It happened by complete coincidence
They laughed and wheezed together
They drew on each other in Sharpie
They complemented the other's insecurities
They held each other tight during cold nights(November 5, 2024)
