What moment of your life changed you?
Hearing you compliment me
not in hopes of lust but love
Finding a family that helps me see
The sunshine all around me
People I have surrounded myself in
Who make me feel at home
What are some fears you're facing in life?
Fear is a funny word
It's relevant to the user
I could fear a spider and you a boozer
I can get over it with time
Or I can hold it down like wine
But overthinking is my fear
Though it can be something I hold dear
It keeps me agile and ready
Even if my mental state is unsteady
I fear of it taking control
But I also fear letting it go
Have you forgiven them yet?
I forgave them when I said goodbye
Though I was mad a couple of times
There's no point in holding a grudge
When what is done is done
All of the pain I've endured
Fertilized me like manurer
It was the right thing to do
To leave them behind and cut loose
Forgiveness doesn't mean I'll talk
Or contact you like I did before
it just means I'm ok without you
If you could go back to one moment in your life, what moment would it be?
No moment is worth living again
Life is a onetime rollercoaster
It's meant to be enjoyed once
Not reversed and ridden again
So keep moving forward
Never move backwards
Put your hands in the air
And just enjoy the ride
