There are many different kinds of love stories. However, most would say certain love stories are quite common. Like, when one has always loved the other since the beginning. But because of that, they pulled themselves away because they were scared.

Fear, always the main cause of distance.

Unfortunately, this is not that kind of story. It is not the kind of story where the truth gets revealed and suddenly they are together. No no no. This story will be different. But, that does not mean there will be no happy ending.

Are you ready for the ride?

"Hey Lisa! Wait up!"

Lisa was about to leave the dance studio when she heard Irene call for her. She glanced behind her and smiled,

"What's up?" she asked as Irene made her way towards her with flushed cheeks and Lisa believed she was just tired from dancing.

"Are you free for an hour? I wanted to ask if you'd want to grab some coffee with me. I don't have class till 3," Irene asked, her voice a tad breathless. Lisa hummed, looking at her watch before nodding her head,

"Sure," Lisa grinned, "I have time," she stepped to the side and held the door open, "Shall we?" Irene smile widened, her eyes sparkling in excitement,

"We shall," she brushed her hand down Lisa's arm as she passed by and Lisa nearly fell to the floor. This woman was— well, a woman.

Then silence fell around as they walked down the hallway towards the coffee shop. It wasn't awkward however. For one, Irene was naturally quiet, for Lisa however, she couldn't help but be in her thoughts.

Irene reminded her of someone. But she couldn't figure out who.

She looked down at Irene in wonder.

Short

Cold beauty

Sharp eyes

Hmm...

Irene met her eyes suddenly with a playful smile, hers eyes squinting cutely, just like—

Oh.

Guess she has a type.

"Staring is Rude," and she freaking winked. Lisa widened her eyes and nearly panicked. More like gay panicked. But Lisa schooled her expression to something that looked calmer than what she was feeling. She shrugged with a charming smirk,

"Can you blame me?"

It was Irene's turn to widen her own eyes. She coughed and looked forward,

"Oh, we're here."

Lisa laughed lightly, enjoying how shy Irene was getting till she looked up and realized who was waiting in line.

"Hey Lisa," Taehyung happily greeted. Then he widened his eyes slightly, "And Irene." Jennie quickly turned around,

"Wha— oh! Hey." She sounded breathless. Lisa smiled kindly and waved.

"Hey," Irene smiled back at them. "How are you guys?" She asked. Jennie glanced up at her boyfriend with a content smile,

"We're good." She then looked back at Lisa, her smile turning warmer and kinder, "How are you two?" Lisa could feel the back of her neck heating up,

"Good," she coughed before looking down at Irene, "This one practically dragged me here, quite aggressively I might add." Irene gasped in the cutest way and playfully swatted Lisa's arm,

"Stop lying," she whined, and Lisa couldn't help but literally melt at the sight of her pout. God, she really did have a type. Lisa laughed and playfully nudged her shoulder. She met Jennie's eyes and softened. They looked at her like they were happy. And Jennie was, it was nice to see Lisa smile. It had been a while.
