Lisa had anger slithering in her veins. Who did the man think he was to touch Jennie without her permission? Her grip on the girl's waist tightened but not to the point it hurt Jennie. She could never hurt Jennie. The man widened his eyes, a smile of apology as he lifted his hands up and backed away to dance with some other girl. Her glare was fierce until she felt hands on her face again, forcing her to meet Jennie's calm expression,
"Lisa, look at me," she said. "I'm okay," she reassured, caressing Lisa's cheek with her thumb and fighting back a blush from how Lisa gripped her waist. Lisa looked at her and instantly softened. There was a flicker of annoyance. Still, she smiled nonetheless, an embarrassed smile.
"Sorry, I just didn't–."
"Me neither," Jennie interrupted, agreeing that she too didn't like the mans hands on her, "That was weird." Jennie dropped her hands from Lisa's face to her forearms, "Why don't we go find Jisoo and Chaeyoung? I think you and I need a drink," she teased. They stood so close and Lisa finally understood the lack of distance because she widened her eyes and backed away a little, dropping her hands off of Jennie's waist. Jennie's smile dropped a bit but she simply took Lisa's hands and guided them out of the dance floor.
Lisa watched their hands in wonder, since when did they become so touchy with each other again? And when she glanced up it was at the same time Jennie glanced over her shoulder at her. Her eyes widened for a second before she turned back forward. It was so sudden, Lisa didn't really know if it was in her imagination or not.
"Done dancing already?" Chaeyoung asked, holding her drink and sipping it, eyeing the both of them. Especially at their hands that immediately pulled away from each other after being caught. To her, something odd was in the air between them. Friends are allowed to hold each other's hands. But when they react in such a way, like– again, like they were caught in a scandal, that is when the question appears, 'just friends?' She needed to remind herself to ask Lisa about it in their dorms. Jisoo nodded, agreeing from beside the blonde one,
"What happened?" Clearly Lisa looked to still be seething. Lisa rolled her eyes,
"Some guy touched Jennie."
"Ew."
"Gross."
"My point exactly," Lisa said, amused. Jennie giggled with a playful eye roll,
"Well, what are we drinking then?" She asked, walking to the bar and standing beside Chaeyoung who turned around to face the bartender with her. Lisa then glanced at Jisoo who had curious eyes. Lisa tilted her head in confusion,
"What?"
Jisoo shook her head with a small smile, "It's nothing." Again, it was not the time.
Lisa shrugged and walked up to the bar, beside Jisoo when suddenly she felt a presence beside her. She looked to her side and met dark, sharp eyes. The woman was tall and beautiful. Her red lips were alluring and Lisa gulped. The girl staring at her with a seductive smirk had dark long hair with fair, pale skin. Wow, is all Lisa could say in her mind.
"Hey," the girl's voice was low and seductive but light and feminine. Lisa smiled nervously,
"Hi," she stuttered. Which amused the girl beside her even more. The stranger took another step closer to her,
"What's your name?" She asked, her body facing Lisa as she leaned her side against the bar. Lisa turned her body as well, smiling kindly but also nervously,
"Lisa. What's yours?" Lisa offered her hand, thanking the heavens above that she was not shaking.
"Joy," she said, taking Lisa's hands. And dear lord, the womans hands were so soft. "Can I buy you a drink?" she asked, slowly dropping Lisa's hand. Lisa grew slightly excited. It had been a while since she flirted with anyone in a while. And since her ex from Thailand, she hadn't really dated or talked to another woman. She had been a bit too preoccupied with school and–
