Ember received her uplifting hair cut, the confidence finally soaring through her veins. After cleaning herself up a bit in her room she knew it was time for her to go downstairs and face everyone. She had a lot of information to share with her friends, whether it was a comfortable subject or not.
Larxene had betrayed her, and that was a subject she would finally have to share with them. She knew she may have to reveal more of her past with the boys, but if it was essential information she had to get over her personal feelings. Larxene would be looking for her in a few days allegedly. Not only was Ember likely not safe, but knowing Larxene and her electric personality the boys weren't safe either.
Ember took one last glance at herself in the mirror. Her hair was even and her buns were tied back up, her eyes were sparkling and she was ready. After a deep breath Ember finally made her way down stairs to face the others.
Her presence perked interest, as the boys all noticed her and stared. Ember decided to continue on with her sass, immediately pointing to the dining table. "Family meeting!"
A chorus of amused chuckles was heard as they all found their seats. Ember sat in her usual spot towards the end of the table, taking no time to prop her elbows on the table and resting her chin in the palm of her hand. "So who's ready for a fun story?"
She explained everything, initiating the typical procedure of communicating the situation and everything she could recall. This wasn't the first time she had to do this, as it was just as Sora said: she certainly ran into a lot of people.
"... So that bitch Elre- I mean Larxene basically threatened me with her knife, cut my face to show me what she's capable of, and eventually she's gonna find me so I'll join the Organization." Ember ended her explanation.
Sora winced. "You decapitated Lexaeus?!"
Ember scoffed. "Out of everything that's what you're worried about?"
"I think what Sora's trying to say is that you're a badass." Axel cooed, placing his elbow on the table and leaning his cheek against his hand. He studied her with enthusiastic eyes.
Riku rolled his eyes. "I think the point is the Organization is trying to rip her heart out."
Ember groaned. Sometimes communicating with them got them off task. "The point is Larxene is likely going to harass us. I know we had a rule last time to travel in pairs, but clearly that didn't work so what's the next step?"
"Kill them." Vanitas growled.
"Dude!" Ventus scolded.
It was Roxas's turn to roll his eyes at all the immature responses. "Instead of trying to prevent the kidnapping why not take advantage of it?"
Sora snapped his fingers at his nobodies idea, pounding the other hand on the table with impetuousness. "Oh! So we'll bait them! Have Ember in a secluded area and the rest of us will be on standby. Once Larxene shows up we'll pounce!"
There were murmers of consideration and agreement to the plan, the boys turning to one another to discuss further on their own. Ember raised her hand like a child in class, sheepishly looking to Sora. "Um does Ember get a say in this plan?"
Sora laughed. "You always say that! And you know that Ember does get a say in things."
She matched his amusement and giggled. "Okay well I do agree with the plan, everyone else who agrees say yes, fuck yeah, or I."
An agreement was placed to initiate the idea. However despite all the enthusiasm Ember had to stop the boys from going further. She gathered their attention once more.
