Zora's Domain, Covered in Mud?

"Odd, I don't remember any dams being built", Sheik stated, looking at a built-up dam in the water.

"I think I see why", Kate said, the three approaching the opposite side, only to see a brown river, "what is all that",

Link scooped up some of the water in his hand, mud and sludge falling from it.

"Mud... they must've built it to keep it from tainting the water", Link explained, cleaning up his hand in the grass.

"With how it looks... we might not have much time before it does", Kate stated, "we'd better get to the domain, and fast",

"Sidon showed me a quicker way to the domain that doesn't involve swimming up waterfalls, follow me", Sheik said, running forward as the two followed after him, mud and sludge fell from the skies, into the water and onto the path ahead, but it wasn't long until they reached the domain itself; while the domain had minor changes made, mud and sludge covered the domain itself, the Zora's were desperately trying to clean it up before another wave came down upon them as others gazed at the statue in the center of the domain.

"Now this is something I'm not fully used to yet", Kate muttered.

"It'd been Mipha for awhile, now us and Sidon", Link stated, "at least Sidon gave her a place and relocated her statue there",

"Right where it overlooks the reservoir where Vah Ruta once stood", Sheik finished.

"That statue is a symbol of hope for the Zora... it is very precious to us", a Zora said, walking up beside them, two Zora's behind her, "that statue depicts the majestic forms of the pair who saved this cherished domain in the past",

"That's right, beloved Prince Sidon of the Zora and his best friends... Sir Link, Lady Kate, and Sir Sheik", the Zora, Chroma explained, "it is simply wonderful, is it not... how I would love to meet them someday... say, you three have a similar stature to the Hylian heroes, similar eyes as well... and you are also Hylian... wait, could it be...",

"Nice to meet you", Kate said with a smile.

"Link and Kate, the swordsman and swordswoman of legend", Chroma shouted as the other Zora cleared her throat.

"Please remember to mind your manners, Chroma", the other Zora, Khira reminded.

"Oh, um... please accept my apology", Chroma said.

"Yes, please pardon our rudeness, I am quite surprised to learn that you are the legendary swordsman and swordswoman", the Zora explained, "I have heard mention of you nearly every day since I first arrived at this domain",

"Sidon likes to talk about us all the time", Sheik muttered, "he did speak to me about you too",

"I am Prince Sidon's... oh, forgive me, I am your best friend's fiancée, my name is Yona", Yona introduced, "I am truly honored to have the opportunity to meet you, your majesties; I had heard you were missing along with Princess Zelda... if I may ask, what brings you here",

"After searching beneath Hyrule Castle and the Upheaval, strange things have been happening all over Hyrule", Link explained, "we're here to investigate what's going on, and try and find Zelda at the same time",

"To think such a think took place beneath Hyrule Castle, and now you are traveling the kingdom to investigate", Yona said.

"So, your search for Princess Zelda is what brought you to this domain...", Khira asked.

"We've searched Rito Village and the Gerudo Desert", Kate explained, "while we've fixed the problem the upheaval caused, we've only seen glimpses of Zelda, nothing more... Zora's Domain and Goron City are the only two places left",
