Crowning a New King

"Welcome back", Yona greeted as the four walked into the throne room; the sludge was gone from the domain and the waters crystal clear.

"Thanks to your courage, the inhabitants of Zora's Domain are safe once again", King Dorephan explained, "no words could express the depths of my gratitude, thank you, heroes, from the bottom of my heart, thank you", his head turned away from the three and towards Sidon, "as for you, Sidon... though they certainly played a key role, your own efforts to save the domain were nothing short of magnificent, I have always believed in you, Sidon, now, you have unequivocally proven your worthiness to bear the crown, that is why I shall joyously take this opportunity to pass the throne to you",

"Father... this is so sudden...", Sidon said in shock.

"No, it only seems that way, in truth, it has been heavy on my mind for some time", King Dorephan stated, "Sidon, my son... it is time to ascend the throne as the new king, take Yona's hand, and as one, lead Zora's Domain to a brighter tomorrow",

"Me... the king", Sidon muttered, looking over at Yona and the three before bowing, "thank you, father, I will not let you down, I swear it",

"That is the spirit, my boy", King Dorephan said, taking off his crown, "now, accept your place upon the throne, their majesties shall bear witness to this momentous occasion",

King Dorephan carefully placed the crown on Sidon's head, as he got up, both Sidon and Yona were joined together in marriage before the two walked outside towards the balcony outside the throne room where a crowd of Zora's stood, waiting.

"Silence, everyone", Muzu shouted, gaining everyone's attention.

"I hereby inherit this crown from my father, The Exalted Dorephan", Sidon announced, "from this moment on, I shall be king of the Zora; at this same precious moment, I ask that you also open your hearts to your new queen, my beloved Yona",

The Zora people cheered as Yona walked to Sidon's side.

"The sludge threatens us no more, we are once again free to swim through crystal waters beneath azure skies without fear", Yona reassured, "we could not have achieved this without our dear King Sidon, their majesties, and all of us who call this domain home; I am so proud and so very grateful to count myself among the Zora of this domain, however, that does not mean that all matters have been resolved",

"Right you are, my love, so long as darkness lurks in the depths of Hyrule, this peace we have fought so hard for could vanish like a bubble on a needle", Sidon explained, "we shall not allow that, it is now time for the Zora to help Link and Kate prevail, everyone, I ask that you lend him your strength, doing just that shall be the first task that I and my partner in life and in leadership shall undertake as your king and queen",

The Zora's cheered once again before Sidon took his leave back into the throne room, rejoining his father, the three following behind.

"First thing's first, my friends, regarding the whereabouts of Princess Zelda", Sidon said, "when I obtained the secret stone, we heard words of that woman... the Sage of Time, she knew what had happened, she also knew your names, could that have been the real Princess Zelda",

"We believe so", Link said.

"And yet father was attacked by Princess Zelda in the here and now... it does not add up", Sidon stated, "well, one thing we know for certain is that we need to know more; Link, Kate, Sheik, as I have just ascended the throne, I must offer my sincerest apologies for being unable to accompany you all, still, I shall continue gathering information about our lost Princess Zelda",

"Thank you, Sidon", Kate said, from the corner of her eyes, her left hand began to glow, excusing herself, she walked out, looking at her hand, "Zelda... we're needing answers, and if what you gave me is an answer... we need it",
