Riley's pov
Maya and I walk into 6th period, our favorite class. Ms. Lippy told us yesterday that there was something very important to talk about tomorrow, meaning today. You can say I'm excited to find out what. The bell rings snapping me out of my thoughts. I usually sit with Maya but today I thought why not sit with Lucas. Mainly because the only seat left was next to him. I love him, but he probably doesn't feel the same way. I walk over to him and smile. "Hi." I say. "Hey Riles." he replies. I open my mouth to say something else but luckily ms.lippy walks in before I can. Thank god. I would have made a complete fool out of my self.

Lucas pov
Me and Farkle got here before the girls. Thank god. I just want to be near Riley. I don't know why. Farkle and Maya are dating so it's ok with them as long as their together. Once the bell rang I made sure the seat next to mine was the last one available. She walks over and says hi I respond with hey. She was going to say something but then the teacher walks in Riley looks relieved. I wonder why. I have a feeling this announcement is going to be something good.
"Good afternoon students." Ms.Lippy said. "Good afternoon." the class responds. "Today is the day that you find out what the special announcement is. Are you ready?"she asks. "Yes!" The class responds. "For the rest the school year you'll be in partners. However I will be choosing the pairs." Before the teacher can go on half the class groans. "Anyway," she says annoyed," you will be living in apartments with your partner, you will have jobs, and kids." and that's when the class gasped. Riley raised her hand and was red in the face " Um, Ms.Lippy, how are we going to have kids without...um....that?" Ms.Lippy chuckled. "Riley dear, tomorrow we are going to an adoption agency and you will chose your kids. You can have up to 6." She said. "Oh." Now Riley was red with embarrassment. I don't know why but I smiled. Ms. Lippy went on with the assignment" you will act as a real family. This is worth half your grade. Now you still will come to school. So, you will bring your kids along and since you are my only class I will watch them. Unless they are old enough to go to the elementary school, the middle school, or the high school near here. You can come see, or eat with them at lunch. Any questions?" She finishes. " I have one. Can we find out who or partners and jobs are now?" I ask. "Of course mr.friar. And since you asked you can pick your job first." The teacher responds. "Ok." I say as I reach into a bowl full of jobs we have to get. "Veteran." I say. My dream job. Riley picks next. "Stay at home mom." She whispers to me.
Maya picked Artist and Farkle picked CEO of a company. Now to find out who our partners were.
RILEYS POV
"Maya and Farkle" the teacher reads.
She says other names but I'm not really paying attention until she calls mine.
"Riley and........ Lucas." Was the last names she read. (Picture of reaction on top) "ok"me and Lucas say at the same time. "Tomorrow do not come to school. Come to this address with your 'spouse' to pick out your children. You will not be coming to school tomorrow. All your teachers know. Also, you will go to your new apartments not your dorms or parents homes. See you in the morning." Was the last thing ms. Lippy said before the bell rang. "Hey. What time should I pick you up?" Lucas asked me "how about 7:00 am since this place is across town?" I respond. "Ok. See you at seven darling. " He says with a smile. I smile back and then he leaves to go find Farkle. "Ms. Lippy, I already have a daughter, and I was wondering can she count because I can't leave her for 6 months. " I feel like crying. "Of course. No mother should be away from their child." She looks like crying too. "Ok. Thank you." I leave the room to go find Maya.
