Riley's pov

Lucas gave me a glare that could have killed me if he tried. "Oh my god! Call 911 now!" He ran over to Luke as I fumbled with my phone. once the number was dialed there was a ringing. "Please let him be okay god. Please." I silently pleaded. "Hello, 911 what's your emergency?" The lady on the other end asked. "Hi, yes okay. my 14 year old son hit his head and passed out. He was fine for a minute but now....."my panicked voice trailed off. "please stay calm. Please tell me your location and I will send a ambulance." "Yes I'm at......"

5 minutes later

"Riley, go in the ambulance with Luke. I'm going to grab Alexis and put Sam in charge." Lucas said in a voice of worry and anger. "Okay. see you at the hospital." I say running after Luke.

In the ambulance(2 minutes away)

"Will he be okay?" I ask the nurse attending to Luke. "I'm not exactly sure at the moment. You said he just bumped his head before he passed out?" he asks. "Yes sir. He was leaning against the front door and I didn't know he was there so I opened the door and he hit his head. And about a minute later he passed out." I explained "well, there may be terminal damage. But I'll be able to tell you more at the hospital, after his examination." He explained.

Once we arrived Luke was rushed through emergency and I couldn't go any farther. I sat down and waited for Lucas.

Lucas' pov

I watched Riley run after Luke before talking to Samantha. I felt bad for waking her up, but this was to important. I ran into Alexis' room to find her wide awake. I pick her up and put her in the car seat. Once strapped in I ran out of the apartment and into my jeep. It's was a five minute ride of torture to the hospital.

At the hospital

I ran until I saw Riley. "hi." She said in a mouse like manner. "anything?" I ask. "No. They told me to just wait here. Not a word." She's panicking. I haven't seen her this worked up since..... well, since she had to tell Maya about alexis. Not her parents, MAYA. "Well, I guess we just have to wait." I say sitting down.

21/2 hours later

Still no word. Nothing. Riley is on her phone looking up possible scenarios. Wait........."Riley! Give me your phone." I say sternly. "Lucas..." she says handing it over. "Yes?" I ask with slight confusion. "I'm....I'm..... I'm sorry. Im sorry about this, I'm sorry about being a b****. I just.... I've been a bit depressed. And on top of that Alexis' father..... was being a jack ass towards me and I couldn't say anything so I took it out on you. And I'm sorry." She gave a slight awkward laugh before continuing,"I know that isn't an excuse,but I had to tell you. I understand if you still hate me." She looked away and I felt real crappy about how I've been acting." No. You shouldn't be apologizing for this. This wasn't your fault. And you aren't a... what you said. You've had a lot going on for the past 2 years. You have an excuse. And that crap father that left well, he's an ass and shouldn't even be apart of your life. And as for you being depressed, you are the most beautiful, kind,loving, person I know. And don't you forget that. But, knowing you, you'll never stop apologizing until you get the results you want. So, I forgive you." pausing she tries to speak. "And no I'm not just saying that so you'll stop apologizing." I smirk. She chuckled. "What are we? Are we still dating? I mean, a few days ago it sounded like you were braking up with me." There was a awkward silence before I kissed her. "Does that answer your question?" I ask. "Yes." Riley says. We are just smiling at each other. "Luke Friar?" the doctor called as we stood up hand in hand. "How is he?" Riley asked. "He's stable. "Oh thank god! "Can we see him?" I ask. "Not yet I'm afraid. I said he's stable. He's not well." The doctor explained. "What do you mean?" We ask at the same time. "Luke is in a coma. And we are unsure of his fate."
