Riley pov
I ran out the of the apartment and leaned against the door. Sliding down the wall I was running my hands through my hair. I started to sob. "How did I get here?" I asked myself over and over. I don't know how long I was in the hall but, I know I fell asleep.
I woke up and ran across the hall. Banging on Maya's door for a good five minutes before she answered. "You ok?"she asks with concern. "He knows." Sobbing seams like something I do best. "Please don't make me get involved." she pleaded. "RING POWER!" I yelled at her. "Agh! We haven't done that since middle school! Do I have too?" She was annoyed. "Yep. Remember the rule: whenever we say ring power we do what the other wants." I just needed to vent. "Fine." She opened the door and I walked in. ( not writing it. It's just what Lucas told Riley before) "ok. So what do you want me to do?" She asked confused. "Nothing really. I just need to talk. And ask for advice." I confessed. "Just tell Lucas. Before he finds out that the 'dream' he had, wasn't one at all." With that she gave me a weak smile. Checking my phone I saw it was 6:00pm and I needed to head home. "Listen thanks for everything but I need to head home. See you tomorrow." I head towards the door. "Bye." Maya says with a gentle smile. With that I walk across the hall to eat dinner with my family.
