Riley's pov
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!?" I yell at Lucas. I've been up all night calling him, texting him, calling his mom, my parents, texting and calling Maya/farkle. Even Zay, who hasn't spoken to us since high school. The kids went to bed not understanding fully what is going on. Well, the younger kids at least. And yet Lucas looks at me with no empathy. No sorrow. Only regret. Does he regret our past? Walking out yesterday? Who knows. Maybe he did something last night he regrets. Something that would change our relationship, more than it already has. "I was walking around. Then stopped at....an old friends house..... to sleep. Yeah...." He trailed off. Honestly I didn't care. I just kissed him. Lucas kisses back. I feel as if everything is alright in the world.

Lucas' pov
Everything is okay in life for the past few days. No one, other than farkle, has asked questions about where I went that night. The 'family' and I were playing the family game when there was a knock on the door. I decide to answer it because Riley was in the middle of her turn. Open the door to see the one of the faces that ruined my life. Riley looks up at the exact moment when the woman, from nights before,kisses me.
