Time had passed.

An hour or two perhaps... minutes away from the breaking of dawn, but even then there seemed no life that beckoned the sun.

The air was stagnant, with harrowing stench of blood and no leaf moved. No bird chirped. No mortal left behind within the accursed heart of the city drew breath.

And seemingly, the world too had come to a standstill.

The closer the Dawn was, the farther time seemed to stretch.

An ominous shadow had befell the mortal soil.

A sun-less dawn as the Earth bled, the spillage of the innocents seeping deep into the ground wherein the unfamiliar rejoiced, it's infernal shackles clanging at its gates to be set free upon the surface to satiate its hunger.

A land barren. A land of death.

A land that was swallowed by the Infinity Hells.

And deep within the folds of this enslaved land, the beacon of light walked through.

Yinan looked up, doing a quick headcount to rest the anxiety in her heart.

Segi had gone missing... not long before the fountains of the Heaven bled with the death of another Divine.
