Sam: Just so you don't get the wrong idea, the fact that my brother is dating Nicola, and that Maddy and this Howe guy are a thing, doesn't mean anything is gonna happen between us, okay.
Simon: ... Okay.
Sam: Good. Just so you know.
Simon: ... I know. I didn't say anything about that.
Sam: Yeah, but you're always trying to date me.
Simon: ... Not anymore.
Sam: Not anymore what?
Simon: ... That was in the past, Samantha King. I no longer care about that. My existence has moved on, independently from yours. I suggest you do the same too.
Sam: ... Really? You think acting distant, and pretending you don't care, is gonna help you seduce me? You think I'm gonna fall for that? Never. It won't work on me. I'll just ignore you.
Simon: ... Good for you.
[Simon gets up, and walks away]
Sam: ... Ugh, I hate how that's working... Hey Simon, wait for me!
