Adelaide is Ravkan, if we're talking who she actually is in the book. She grew up in an upper middle class family, in a large house isolated from society. She was taught well, however. How to defend herself, how to intimidate and charm. (The latter she isn't particularly good at.)
But is Adelaide influenced by anyone in real life, or exterior to the Grishaverse?
Yes, she is.
If you've seen the movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody', then you'll be familiar with Ben Hardy's portrayal of Roger Taylor.
Adelaide is partially influenced by him, as well as;
✫Eadaz Uq-Nara, The Priory of the Orange Tree.
✫The Narrator, Fight Club.
✫Jonathan Crane (AKA: Scarecrow), Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.
And some other characters. Her humour is based on my own.
