After a few days in the infirmary, Madam Pomfrey let me return to my classes and my dorm. Let me say I will not miss that place it smells weird and it's always too quiet. Anyways, I haven't seen Draco since he stayed the night when I was in the infirmary! I'm kinda surprised it even happened. He was starting to be vulnerable which is a step. The fact that I own him now also helped a lot. I was walking back to my dorm and I ran into Harry.

"Hey there!" My brother said to me.

"Hi Harry," I replied dryly.

"I'm sorry I didn't come to see you i've been busy preparing for the next challenge and stuff you know?" Harry said to me.

"Not really.." I stated not wanting to deal with this right now.

"Oh well erm I'm sorry about that I didn't mean to be so distant I wanted to be there with you."

"You couldn't take a second out of your day to come see me?"

"I said I was sorry," He said trying to be sympathetic.

"Yeah I heard you the second time," I said with a clear attitude.

I had every right to be upset he was kinda the reason I was attacked in the first place so I would think as my brother he would come see me, but no. He just disappeared without a word.

"Come on Harper you're kinda making a bigger deal than it is," Harry said kinda nervously.

"Are you serious. There's no way you just said that to me," I said with genuine disbelief.

He added, "I mean it's not like you were dying."

"I was willing to get over you not coming to see me if you had a valid excuse and tried to make it up to me, but you're just an arse. I don't even wanna look at you," I stated bluntly.

"You're really living up to your title aren't you? Yeah, I've heard that you're the new Slytherin queen. How would Mum and Dad feel about that?" Harry said with no remorse.

I left without saying another word and I could hear Harry calling my name, but I had no time for this. I just ran in the other direction. I looked back to make sure Harry wasn't following me and I ran into what felt like a brick wall.

"Oh my gosh I'm so so sorry. I wasn't looking."

I looked up to see Draco fricking Malfoy.

"Hello there Darling, you should look where you're going maybe next time?" Draco said with a smirk.

I quickly muttered, "Yeah sorry I've gotta go I'll see you around."

"Seriously Harper?" Draco said looking a bit upset.

"What did I miss something?" I replied not wanting to deal with another argument.

"Nothing just, are you ok?" Draco asked me.

"Big fight. Harry and me. I don't wanna talk about it," I quickly summarized what had happened without wanting to really explain.

"Oh ok I thought something was seriously wrong," Draco replied to me.

"Nope, just my brother acting like you," I said chuckling at my words.

"Wait what?" He questioned me.

"No in the sense of being an arse to girls who don't deserve it!" I added.

"Mhm of course, but that's in the past now," Draco said taking a step towards me.

"Hey hey hey, what are you doing there?" I pointed out letting him know his actions weren't going unnoticed.

"Nothing, you're just so far away," He said.

"Distant, you mean? Yes that's the whole point. I stay far away and nothing happens. Best solution," I replied making my point across.

"Are you sure this distance is the best thing?" Draco said in a convincing voice taking another step towards me.

"Yep for sure I'll see you around yeah?" I quickly walked away feeling a bit flustered.
