I had told Harry I was gonna stay with Pansy for the summer trying to keep my distance as far as possible. The last thing I need is him figuring out the truth.

So I've actually been staying in a big empty mansion with Voldemort. I don't consider him my father, at least not yet. It just don't make sense to me. I am more powerful than Harry and everyone in my class which makes sense. I dunno it's all so new.

I've just been here by myself most of the time. The dark lord is usually never home. I never took him as an introvert anyways so. It's been me all summer.

I usually wake up, shower, make breakfast in my ginormous kitchen, get ready for the day, read in the garden, eat lunch, workout, read some more, play dress up, eat dinner, and go to bed. I have a little routine.

It's quite depressing actually. I'm not allowed to go anywhere as Voldemort says it's all apart of his plan. Apparently I'll be needed 'soon.' Hopefully he can just announce me and rip off the bandaid. I think i'm in a bit of shock and denial. Eh i'll be fine!! Right? I just miss my friends and Draco. I don't fancy him, but he's nice company.

It was mid-July about 2 weeks from my birthday when a letter came in from an owl that had orange eyes and a sandy type coat. I recognized it as Draco's owl. I grabbed the letter and on it in pretty cursive read 'Harp.' I opened it up quickly wondering what he could be writing to me about.

"Dear Harp,

I just wanted to write to you and see how you are doing. It's kinda weird I saw Pansy and Daphne the other day, but you weren't with them. Is everything okay? I'm just concerned. I'd like to see you maybe before school resumes. If not, whatever then. Just let me know okay?
You know you can always tell me anything.
I'm here if you need me.

                D.M."

I smiled at the thought of Draco's letter. It was quite nice actually. I wish I could tell him what's happening, but he wouldn't understand.

All of a sudden, I heard my front door swing open, "DAUGHTER. Come at once." I made my way over to him scoffing at the name he called me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"What's that?" The dark lord asked me. Looking at the letter in my hand.

"Nothing. Just a letter from Draco Malfoy," I replied.

"It's best you are in a good place with Draco especially with what the future holds," Voldemort stated.

I don't know what the hell that meant and I don't wanna know.

"Don't reply to the boy. I don't need anything romantic going on between you just yet," He instructed. I just stayed quiet out of fear. He walked past me to his quarters. I went upstairs to my bedroom and heard lots of yelling. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a crime scene right below me.

2 weeks later
Happy birthday to me! Spent my birthday all alone. I made myself a cake though. It turned out pretty nice. Sweet 16 as the muggles say. My birthday is pretty late compared to my classmates. Wait. I remember me and Mattheo having the same birthday and it was so weird. If I'm really Voldemort's daughter then that means...

Honestly at this point anything could happen i'm not surprised. So I do have a twin, just from the other side. I know Mattheo is staying with Draco this summer. I wish I could send him a letter, but the dark lord would have a fit if he found out.

Happy birthday, I guess. I blew out my candles, threw away the cake I made, and headed to bed.

1 week later
How I couldn't wait for school to return in just a few days. Speaking of Hogwarts, I got a letter in the mail. It was addressed to me from Snape. I've been named a prefect for Slytherin. At least, I'll be keeping myself busy this year. I wonder who else got the position.

After packing up all my clothes in my wardrobe, I'm ready to return to school. Voldemort hasn't even come back yet from whatever he's planning and I'm not surprised. He never did seem like father material. I know it won't be the last I hear of him this year though. I decided to put on a cute little outfit for my return. My motto is you have be the best dressed in the room.

My driver grabbed my luggage and I sat in the car. On my way there, I thought of excuses for every thing that could go wrong this year. Why I have a dark mark, where I was this summer, why i'm legitimately depressed. Yeah, how was I gonna explain this? Ok dark mark, i'll just wear long sleeves. Where I was this summer, traveling and hopping around with slytherin friends. Why i'm legitimately depressed, put on a fake smile so no one notices or just be invisible. Perfect! Not really...

My driver took me to the station and we had arrived. I mentally prepared myself before walking out of the car.

I did my bad bitch walk per usual with sunglasses on like I was a celebrity. My driver following behind me. He loaded my things as I muttered a 'thank you' and made my way onto the train. My plan was to avoid Harry and be with my Slytherin friends so he can't come near me.

As soon as I said that I heard, "Harper oh my gosh. You look different," My supposed brother said to me. Awkward.

"Oh hey Harry nice to see you too!" I replied trying to seem enthusiastic to see him taking off my sunglasses as I said that.

"How are you? I've been worried I haven't heard from you all summer," He expressed quickly.

"I know i'm sorry. I'm great though. I spent my summer with all my friends just chilling and doing things as we do you know," I explained trying not to seem suspicious.

"Well alright then, I'll see you around yeah?" Harry asked.

"Yeah," I muttered and walked past him fast. I quickly walked around to see a sight of my friends anywhere in the compartments.

it's harper riddle not harper potter. cant go back now!! poor harper though this chapter made me feel so bad. i always cry on my birthday so i felt like i had to make this special. harpers bday is august 3rd!! also my bday hehe😝 I LOVE U
