Obviously a lot has happened this year. It's been so much dark lord blah blah blah and draco this and that and I'm so done. I just honestly don't care anymore. I have no choice in the decisions I make.

I have really been wanting to talk to Mattheo though. I think he's the only one who will understand and also hoping he won't tell anyone.

We have a no classes day today so my plan is to find Mattheo and talk to him. I check the great hall, some of the corridors, and ask around until returning to my common room for a break. Everyone had really gone into town, but I was pretty sure Mattheo would have stayed.

"Oh hey there Harper," The boy who I had been looking for all afternoon spoke.

"Mattheo there you are. I've been looking for you," I said with relief.

"Here I am, how can I help?" Mattheo asked me.

"Well I don't really need anything. I just have um ... recently found out news that has a certain meaning to me and happens to affect you as well," I began to say.

"Alright well please enlighten me then," He replied.

"So it turns out. I am not Harry Potter's sister," I said looking at Mattheo.

"You're mine aren't you?" Mattheo quickly said.

"What the fuck, how'd you know?" I asked shockingly.

"For being a genius, you can be so stupid. I've had a hunch for a while, but I didn't want to say anything. Dear old father has been raving about my sibling for a while now. A bunch of shit about my sister being the prophecy and the future of whatever destiny he's got planned. When you showed up in your glory there was something about you that I couldn't shake until I realized. Harry Potter's twin sister? It's almost too easy," Mattheo explained.

"I know, but wait what I realized is that you're actually my twin brother cause we have the same birthday," I said to him.

"Ok this just got weirder. I mean I see how we're related honestly. Makes no sense a Potter would go into Slytherin," Mattheo said.

"Wait do you have the dark mark?" I asked him.

"No? Why would I we're so young... wait do you have it Harper?" Mattheo questioned me with deep concern.

"Yeah, I-uh do. He gave it to me the night I found everything out," I stated.

"Can I see it? If you don't mind," Mattheo asked me respectfully.

"Yeah sure I guess," I replied. I pulled up my sleeve and then began removing the charm I had covering the mark. It was there along with all the little cuts I had. Fuck I forgot about those.

"Oh Harper, what did you do?" He asked.

"Well you know, I was in deep feels. Mental breakdown. I tried taking it off. Didn't work if you couldn't tell," I answered with regret.

"I can't even imagine. I'm sure I'm not too far away from getting mine," Mattheo said.

"It's gonna be ok. Somehow," I replied.

"How can you even think like that?" Mattheo asked me.

"It's definitely a lot better that I have someone to talk to now. It was really hard holding it all in. I couldn't even tell Draco. That's why we ended things because the dark lord made me," I explained.

"I had no idea," Mattheo replied.

"Yeah it's been really hard," I explained to him.

"Well we know who the favorite child is!" Mattheo said.

"Are you joking? This isn't even funny," I asked him laughing.

"If we don't laugh, we cry so I suggest laughter," Mattheo answered me.

"What's it like not being the favorite? It must be such a struggle," I asked Mattheo chuckling and I had to holding back my laughter.

"You know living in your shadow is really hard, but it must be even harder looking like that. God you didn't get these genes," Mattheo said to me while showing off his skin and face.

"You're not funny," I said with a straight face

"I'm fucking with you Harper we all know your like supermodel gorgeous," He replied.

"What can I say, it kills to look this good," I said flipping my hair sarcastically.

"In all seriousness I'm glad we talked though, it feels good to have this out in the open," Mattheo said.

I agreed, "Trust me it feels so so calming to know I have you."

"You'll always have me. I'm right here and I love you," He said while coming in to give me a hug.

I reciprocated the hug, "I truly love you and it's gonna be ok alright?"

Omg brother sister BONDING. we love a good sibling trauma bond. so so adorable. anyways lowkey just a filler chapter but also to help explain everything in more detail!! Also side note for next chapter, Jules' is Julia's nickname if you didn't make the connection it's the same person just Harper's nickname for her!
