Chapter 8:

Becky's Pov:

I just left from Khun Lek's place after completing today's retribution. I know Khun Mary asked us to consider it as a job but not as a penalty. However, it does feel like one not just the tiring part, besides also when your work load has to be shared with someone whose equation doesn't match yours. Freen and me are like Tom and Jerry, and as everyone already know how things can be when they get together. Although, it's difficult to work with her but I can't take up any other option as letting Khun KM down by turning Khun Lek's offer will be the last thing I choose.

While I was walking through the way to our campus and wondering how to get even with Freen after her giving me hard times all over the day, I suddenly collided with something. It was a tiny little creature coming up to my less than half of calf length, looking at me with its innocent puppy eyes and tongue hanging out. It then, started crawling towards me while hugging my legs and gesturing me to hold it up. When I realized its hint I quickly went down to pick it up as obviously who could resist such a cute dog.

I was just caressing it while admiring its cuteness when I heard a loud wheezing voice approaching us. When that person came within my vision's range, I saw a panting old aged woman carrying a walking stick coming towards us. She was persistently calling a name while looking towards our direction. It took me a few milliseconds to realize that she is the owner of this adorable dog.

"BonBon...Oh!!There you are..my kid..." she said with a sigh after halting before me.

"Looks like you have found a new master for yourself already" She said while smiling from ear to ear.

I panicked at her words and quickly put the dog down when it then, went towards its original master.

"Yeah...actually I didn't stole it...it..it just suddenly came towards me and signalled to hold it up hence I did so...." I nervously blurted nonsense.

"Haaa! Haaa! Haa! Kid don't get panicked ...I know you didn't commit anything wrong and I also know that BonBon has already fallen in love with you so much..." She replied with a soft chuckle

"How are you so sure about it?" I surprisedly asked at her response.

"Actually my BonBon doesn't easily get along with people and makes clingy gestures towards someone only when he loves them. I am also astonished to see his behaviour towards you. Even he doesn't bond this much with my daughter apart from me." She replied bewildering me.

I was happy to hear that, this cute and endearing dog not just any but an introverted bulldog who has included me in his favourite list and given an equivalent position as his owner. I was looking at their pleasant union, when the owner responded back.

"Oh! I completely forgot to mention myself...I am Anong. And by the way what is your name pretty girl?"

"Becky." I answered with a smile.

"Ou..Becky...Thank you so much for getting my BonBon back safely." She replied with a sigh of relief.

"No..no...not a big deal Khun Anong. I am glad that this charming bulldog approached me." I delightfully answered.

"Huh...seems like you are well aware with the dogs." She astonishedly responded.

"Yes....plus about their breeds as well. And BonBon is a Frenchie." I proudly stated.

"Great...then we can be good friends...." She was replying when BonBon barked.

"Arrf...Arrff.."

"Yes...yes and you are BonBon's too." She added with a chuckle.

I exchanged last few words before departing from the adorable pet and his sweet owner. It was very enchanting to meet with such a playful dog which resembles me so much in this aspect. But I was equally sorrowful about the separation and secretly wished to meet them again while I headed back towards my campus.

A/N: Sorry.... I promised amusement park update in the next chapter but this part was necessary for future references. But, don't worry, the next chapter is the most awaited one.....
